  1. Evening chaps. I seem to have run into a dead end regarding some replacement springs for an old bc rich I’m trying to restore. specifically I need 2 black springs that go into the bridge assembly. They had corroded so badly that they broke while trying to detach them from the saddle and screw. ive searched high and low, and the ones I ordered - listed as black- contained black screws and silver springs 🙄 I’m looking at buying a cheap Chinese bridge atm, but I’d rather not buy more than I need if at all possible. does anyone have a source or know of a hardware site where I can get some? all help is gratefully received 👍🤘 the attached pic shows dimensions

  12. I’d echo the comments about the spark ( full sized one ) and bb preamp. The ehx hot wax would be an option imo. also the orange getaway driver sound awesome, Both have the facility to get the full fat and round drive and heading toward crisp and crunchy

  16. I’ve just bought an old bc rich from eBay in a “well reliced” condition. I’m currently trying to restore the body shape with wood filler, but once that is done, I’m thinking about doing a cover similar to the joker one above, but using a poster like an old movie poster. can someone help me out on the process pls? Or point me towards someone that would be able to do it for me? cheers

  20. I have had the dg and Aguilar. sold them both. Wasn’t a fan of the aggy at all, I disappeared in the mix, no matter how it was set. the vintage was nice, but I couldn’t get it sound ‘right’ in my situations. As @Cosmo Valdemar said above, so much is dependant on rig and your target sound.
