2.
Sorry to to disappoint you!
Hahaha - and now you have a new avatar - which one are you?

 4.

That is so not what you looked like in my head! Where, ermmm, conveniently, people are supposed to look like their avatars!
 5. A quick venture into the spare room has not thrown up any D'addarios at present (although I know that Pete has used them before and we have had packets of them lying around). If you can bear with me, I think the simplest thing is just to ask Pete the question when he wakes up, which should be sometime in the next few hours
 6.
Rich, replied to PM, thanks for your help.... Mrs T, do all of Mr Ts strings stiil live in thier packets...? Do any look like these....? http://store.daddario.com/category/145851/Chromes_Flat_Wound Or http://store.daddario.com/category/145912/...kel_Round_Wound I can't remember what he uses now.... although we did have a discussion about strings about a yr ago.... If his string colection does look like those above could you get back to me and I'll PM my fone #. Bob
Ooooh yes - I do think we have several packets of strings that look like that somewhere! Now of course, I just have to determine where I have tidied them away to, or establish if himself has removed them all to the practice location in order to prevent them from being subjected to my tidying. For 'tidying' read 'shifting piles of stuff out the way to make room for more stuff!' Back later!
 7. I wish I knew how to establish if any of the strings we have here would be of any use to you. I will try and remember to ask Pete when he surfaces from his slumbers in Las Vegas

 10. Sometimes the things we look forward to least turn out to be really good - I hope Friday goes really well and you have a lot of fun !
 11. Save up the extra money to buy it cheaper elsewhere and then use the voucher to buy everyone's Christmas presents from Selfriges. Simples!
 12. Awwwww, ain't love grand? Many congratulations on your engagement, your fiancee is a top lass!
 13.
I'm not a big fan of BJ, but they are excellent live by all accounts, and I'd hoped to see them this time around, but couldn't get a ticket.
I used to be a huge fan and I have seen them live many times, the most memorable being at one of their Christmas charity gigs at the Orpheum Theater in Boston, MA (seating capacity just over 2500, it was amazing!!!! ) However, I have now fallen out with Mr Bon Jovi & Co to a degree due to their (no doubt financially driven) decision to just play several dates at the 02 arena next year and ignoring their many fans in the rest of the UK
 14.
Looking over the shoulder of the keyboard player/sax player/bandleader to see a middle-aged couple full on going at it to the sound of our music, especially his sax solo. She literally dropped her knickers and straddled her fella while facing the bandleader.
Hahahahahahaha - love it! Never under-estimate the so -called 'middle-aged'
 15.
Would it have gone along the lines of, "I've bought this bass........"

Hahaha, it would probably go that way.
Be prepared for 'I've bought these air tickets to Sri Lanka........!' Sorry for thread hi-jacking (notttttt!) As you were!
 16.
Tinman - Just so as we are clear, I was the Huggy Bear character who (accidentally) gave Mrs. Tinman the word on the street re this thread.
You 've just ruined my future plans for using you as a spy! 17.
The main reason for asking is that I'm off to the States again in a couple of weeks and some of you know what happened last time.
You're in the sh!t now you sneaky sod! Thank heavens for BC'ers who innocently grass you up!

 20. Speak nicely to a modly person and get this moved, I should think even general bass discussion would guarantee it more views!
 21.
Dangerous though, because if she's money savvy she'll follow up with "how much did that cost then?" which'll put you in a whole world of pain if she has a vague idea of respray costs (ie, in the hundreds).
I hadn't as much as a vague idea, but I do now!!!! Thanks Buzz, I'll file that away safely for future reference!
 22.
I imagine I'll end up in some home somewhere staring out of a window trying to figure out why my chair feels wet.
I think I already live there!
What will be really strange is when you come across this bass, where you left it, in your house !
That's why Stannah stairlifts have got a new turbo charged version, to get you upstairs before you forget what you went up there for.
Hahahahaha!
