1.
PM's replied to.
Not to mine...
2. I really, really want this bass....and I believe it's even located somewhere around here (thus not in the UK)... Man, do I hate being skint. You wouldn't trade for something, would you?

5. I can't stop looking at this bass.... Would you consider any trades, maybe with cash your way?
6. Absolutely stunning!!! This looks like THE ideal fretless for me... If I only had the cash....
7. Very, very nice instrument! I believe the 4-string from the set was mine for quite a while, or at least one with the same finish. It was from '89 and had gold hardware instead of black. Unfortunately I had to sell it a few months ago.... It now resides in the UK. The finish on yours should be fantastic, if it's the same as mine was. I made a few pics under strong lighting to show the real nature of the finish: Pics The more light fell onto it, the more it changed from black to some kind of translucent blue and the better you could see the wood grain. Is it the same effect on yours? I can also confirm that Thumbs from that era have far less neck dive than more recent ones. I believe it's because of the way thinner neck and because they used a VERY heavy solid brass bridge back then instead of the newer one made from a much lighter alloy. Made the bass heavier overall but greatly improved balance. Good luck with the sale! Janis
8. Thanks for letting me know, guys. And GD, somehow now I really hope you'll be disappointed with the BEF...
9. Still available? And anything I could do to motivate you to answer me?
10. PMed a few times regarding BEF pro...
11. Another vote for the Eden EX110 from me. My rig for practicing at home and small gigs consists of a GB Shuttle 9.0 and 1 or 2 x EX1108, that's the 8 ohm-version of the EX110. Really really tiny and light cabs that sound surprisingly good and can handle way more than I was expecting at first. And they are cheap as ****. Another little piece of advice, if you should go for one of these: The only thing that bothered me were the cheap 1/4-input jacks. Solution: http://www.thomann.de/gb/neutrik_nl4mpr.htm Extremely easy to install as the holes for the screws are exactly in the right place and you can use the old screws, too. It's a perfect fit. Soldering takes maybe 2 mins.
12. Damn it.....don't feed my GAS, please! Eude, your ACGs look really great. My JP is also a 33" and has no fingerboard radius and I got completely used to that....that's why I'm sure they both would fit me very well. I guess I'll contact Chris and see what happens. And thanks for the offer, if I got any questions about ACGs you'll be my first address.
13. Thanks, guys! The top on mine should be spalted sycamore, at least that's what JP said. It really is a shame that he stopped building.....Mine is an absolute keeper. You're right Eude, the lower horn and the offset are different. Anyway, I like the shape of both! I'd love to order an ACG, preferably a 5er or 6er singlecut. Unfortunately I can't afford that atm.... That's why I'm very tempted to shoot Chris2112 a PM, he seems to want a WW Thumb for his Harlot and I happen to have one of those... Only "problem" is the lack of enough strings on his Harlot. But maybe I could live with that.....what to do, what to do.... Cheers Janis
14. Lovely! I'm sure it'll turn out to be a fantastic instrument....I'd like to get an ACG myself, especially with one of those filter preamps. The specs of yours also sound very promising. Btw: The body shape of the Salace looks pretty familiar to me....here's my JP (just ignore the few extra strings and the runway in place of the fingerboard ) : Pretty similar, don't you think? Cheers Janis
15. Did a part-ex with David a few weeks ago. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with, very friendly communication, great gear and great packaging. Highly recommended! Cheers Janis
16. Beautiful bass! Already had it on my radar when it was for sale last time, I really wish I had the funds... Hmm, maybe I could offer my lovely Warwick Thumb 4 from 89 in high-gloss-see-through black... Anyway, free bump!
17. Last bump....had some offers and will propably go for a pretty tempting part-ex in the next few days. So if someone wants it --> now is your last chance.
18. Thanks! I don't really mind if it takes some time to sell, but it would be nice to have some spare cash soon. Wanna buy something nice for my gf.
