  1. Beautiful. I had a Letts fretless 4 for some years and loved it. Absolute bargain for this money.
  2. Just acquired a pedal from Ben. Great transaction, excellent comms and ultra-quick despatch. All arrived safely 24 hours later. Complete gent, thanks for a rock solid transaction.
  3. Hi folks For sale is my Pedaltrain Classic 2 pedal board with the Pedaltrain softcase. The board has velcro already on it and is in excellent condition. The softcase is also very tidy with only a couple of marks (looks like chalk, but seems not to want to be brushed off). The size is 24" x 12.5" x 3.5". I acquired it a few months ago pre-loved but it's just a bit big for what I need (should have checked more before I bought it). Happy to post to UK mainland or for collection. I'll also happily deliver locally up to 20 miles from me. Prices therefore: Collected £55 Local Delivery £60 Posted to UK mainland £65 Here are some pics.
  4. Hi peeps For sale is this Jazz bass style harness. It came in a Limelight last week but I have put EMGs in so this is as new and completely unused. Volume/volume/tone with CTS pots, Switchcraft jack, and cloth wiring. Let me know if you need to see anything more detail but I think that I have captured the important bits. £25 posted UK mainland
  5. For sale is this rather cool bass overdrive pedal. Had it for quite a while and only f/s as I now have a Grizzly unit. In good condition with original box plus a leaflet on the controls (from the manufacturer as these are not routinely provided). One of the little screws is missing and try as I might I have not been able to find it (yet). Pics below. £45 posted UK mainland
  6. Hi folks For sale is the mini Flanger pedal. A lot of fun with some good setting options. Here is the manufacturer's web page on the beastie: https://idonner.eu/products/donner-jet-convolution-flanger-guitar-effect-pedal-vibration-rumbling-noise-effect Pics below. Sorry but I don't have the original packaging. £17.50 posted UK mainland
  7. Faced with that amount of choice in woods I feel that I be like a deer caught in the headlights; goodness knows it's hard enough at ACG. I know what @AndyTravis means about wanting one though.
  8. Lovely. Was that the one from Bass Bros? Some of my basses were being picked up and I saw that in the back of the car, nearly phoned Will up to make him an offer there and then.
  9. Isn't that a Pan Galactic Gargle Baster?
  10. I have a pretty tame moustache, but not a chance in the beard dept. Same hair colour though
  11. All the bits fitted now. Sounds great and LS is a genius for coming up with the idea. Need to do a bit more tweakery and we're good to go.
  12. Not a fan of steel string but I'll pop some bright nickel wounds on. Thanks for the advice.
  13. Flats or rounds people? Not sure what strings Mr S uses or what were fitted on the original one.
  14. Would it be returned Nick?
  15. Sadly I couldn't find any of the original sort so it is the modern EMG Ps that are fitted.
  16. You are of course correct my friend. Weirdly my boss doesn't see it that way. However I have loaded a couple of 'pre-EMGs' pics for your delectation. When finished it will be a Limelight Lee Sklar bass although as I don't know any famous recording artistes gathering sigs may take some time Here you go with a couple of pics of the original first: My L/L version awaiting some ink...
  17. First door on the right sir. (Maybe)
  18. Still at work so please bear with...the pic was from Mark at Classic & Cool so I promise it's not a tease. I'm doing the electronics myself hence the mini delay.
  19. Will do some pics later but the bass landed today and very excited to play it with the band. It's neither a P or a J (nor a PJ) and it is the first Limelight with a one-piece Alder body. Quick teaser pic...
  20. Now hiding behind the sofa... On the lightweight question, My ACG Alder bodied basses have been very light without exception. I think Mr C uses special helium infused Alder though.
  21. Meant to add that I'm also listening to our very own Kev's band's (Awaken Eternity) debut album Leviathan. Very good it is too.
  22. Oooh, interesting. What has he done with it? This was the first record I ever bought at the tender age of 11 after saving up my sixpences pocket money and has long been a favourite of mine.
  23. I feel that we share a lot of common likes here (honorable exception of prog of which I am unashamedly a fan). Apols to the OP for the thread derailing.
  24. Phew, I feel you may need a hug or some chocolate. Seriously though, what is your preference?
