Sounds like if i purchase the Puma 900, my Genz Benz heads will be my back up...............or as you mentioned, possibly moved on................very tempting the one on TB.
I'm trying to get an idea on its sound? Hi-Fi or? I currently use Genz Benz Streamliners & a Genz Benz Shuttle 9.2. I'm liking the cleaner tone of the Shuttle at the mo and looking to sell my Streamliners. Have you used either of the Genz Benz heads? I'm running them through a Barefaced 410 cab. Thanks in advance.
8 years later.............do you by any chance still own & use this amp? If so, how does it compare with more modern amps? If not, what did you purchase to replace it with? Thanks.

That neck was actually the one on the Ebay listing. So that won't be the neck I receive. However, they were kind enough to send me pictures of the neck I will receive. This is it before they packaged to send.
I just bought a lightly roasted maple jazz neck off Ebay. Coming from China. It's going on my PJ parts build. I have a nice Fender Vintera 60's Roasted maple neck on my jazz bass. It will be interesting to compare them once the Chinese version arrives. Will update once it's installed.
No worries! Anytime.
Yes, some don't like the lemon oil on the back of the neck, but I've had great results on my wenge neck parts basses & my Warwick basses.
The following was on a Corvette FNA I bought. Before & after lemon oil.
The middle wenge neck on the p-bass and the right one on the jazz bass are both from the same seller on Ebay.
Definitely heavier than maple. I'd recommend lightweight tuners unless your bass body was a heavy wood. And I always put on heavier bridges.
The only finishing I added to both was apply lemon oil on the back of the neck, fretboard & headstock.
I've bought 2 wenge necks off Ebay. Both only needed minor fret work & that only cost me $25 NZ per neck. Great necks. And I've bought 1 Maple neck off Ali Express. Just needed similar work on the frets. So, all three have been good purchases for me & I'd happily buy again from either place.
Here are pictures of all three necks on my made at home parts basses.
