  1. Hi Pete unfortunately no! The shape was easy enough to do on my spindle sander but anything more complex I would struggle! I recommend earlpilanz on eBay for custom work, he's the best
  2. Why drive when you can fly?
  3. Thinking of selling my custom built bass. Body is basswood from a Westfield, with the neck pocket re-routed to correct the scale length for a jazz neck. The neck is from. Harley Benton jazz bass, maple and rosewood. The plates are tort, hand made by myself. Pickups are the EMG Tom Araya set with an added TKO killswitch. I will also include a Ritter thunderbird gig bag. Open to offers! It's by no means factory finish but it plays and sounds great, it's just on the heavy side!
  4. Currently in the process of downsizing my live setup so this is next on the block! Temple audio duo 17 with red sides - a couple of the holes have been widened for previous configurations, in the end if switched to 3m dual lock so there's foamy leftovers on the top but this will scrub off! Included is the Harley Benton AC power supply with the temple audio switched AC mod for easy access Also included is the temple audio di mod I will leave on the led strip lights, just cheapo Amazon job but they do the trick And lastly it comes with a well fitted abs case For the whole package I've put £200 but make me an offer 😊
  5. In the process of downsizing my board as I get to grips with hx stomp Boss geb7 - good condition - rubber pad replaced with dual lock - £50 Radial big shot aby - good condition - dual lock on the back - £70 Dunlop bass wah - works perfectly but slight aesthetic modifications have been made.. and dual lock - £50
  6. Well there we have it! Thanks for the peek behind the curtain 😊
  7. I remember seeing some tin foil special saying that glasto is the unspoken official BBC staff summer holiday - they take thousands of staff, mostly put up in hotels/bbs in the surrounding area for a week with days either side. This was based on the amount the BBC spend to have a presence (license payer funded of course) Vs how miniscule the viewing figures/indirect revenues are for their glasto contents. It's probably bs but I kinda believe it?
  8. Its got the Coachella effect now, more of a photo op for a lot of people
  9. That went totally above my head but I am in awe
  10. We did actually get loads of bookings that referenced seeing her on our Instagram so it can pay off if you're selective. I did struggle to get the strap over her for those wondering..
  11. Nothing wrong with taking the odd freebie if its going to pay dividends down the line, we once took a freebie playing for Katie price just because we wanted to see how big they are irl 🫡
  12. I suggested they change their name to Metallica instead
  13. Could you talk me through the Morningstar? I'm seeing them more and more these days but I'm totally uninitiated with midi
  14. If you have the time/patience you could try building your own bass? I had nerve issues in my shoulder from using heavy basses and thin straps. I now have a few custom builds on rotation based around the lightest bodies I could find on eBay, combined with wide bass straps, makes a huge difference! (It does however seem to amplify the pain when I occasionally break out my thunderbird)
  15. That looks incredibly fancy! Nice board! I'm looking for that orientation but just wider - which is probably not the most desirable
  16. Not going myself but id recommend people check out my cousin's band GIRLBAND! 3 piece rock band from Nottingham. Their recorded stuff really doesn't do them justice because they are incredible live!
  17. Some very nice looking stuff on there! Not quite what I'm after though!
  18. Is anyone making dual foot switches (for hx stomp) in normal sized pedal enclosures? Currently using the ampero one switch but the empty space on my board is giving me existential dread? Had a look at the boss FS but I'm seeing a common fault with latching issues Thanks!
  19. Played a birthday party in the middle of nowhere in a sweaty tent, no food or drinks with a client who made an ignorant/racist comment to out guitarist right of the bat. I also got to use my newly finished "Grandma's wallpaper" jazz bass. So 7/10 overall
  20. Played a corporate doo for some electrical contractors at the Derbyshire cricket club marquee, total greenhouse but the acoustics were fantastic. Highlight was someone coming up to ask me about my hx stomp patch which is a rarity but not ideal when midway through playing and singing?? Could it not wait dude?

Their main guy was depping for me in November, he was probably bringing the stress of that to work 👀

I stopped using my local one after they took all the prices off for some reason and replaced with qr codes. I asked one of the guys how much a pedal cost and he sarcastically said "why, don't you have a phone?" If you're in Nottingham, just go to Music Inn! Service is second to none
  23. Never gigged one but my guitarist has one in his studio and it keeps up with a drum kit just about! Very easy to dial in a good sound too. With a bit of PA support this should serve you well 👍
  24. Id never heard of this brand until seeing this thread, turns out I've just moved house about 1/4 mile from their old factory site! Spooky
