2. Sold some GHS flats to bassninja in an effortlessly smooth transaction. No problems at all. Cheers!
3. Well, it landed last night. Havent had chance to put it thru its paces yet and have a proper play with it. Would be interested to hear peoples settings on these. I plan to use my amp completely flat and let the pedal dial in the tone. The manual comes with some recomended settings but all have funny names like ''Schism, creamy, roundabout'' etc. Im hopefully trying to get a slight valvey breakup in the lower notes and a bit of sparkle in the highs with my '76 flats loaded P throught the HA5500 and soon to arrive VX215
4. Good quality speakon-jack lead with neutric connectors. Cab change means i need jack-jack speaker cable. Must be good quality like this one and similar length (around 1m). Trade only at the mo please. Watchya got?
5. I do really fancy a go on one of them there Ashton BV300 efforts

9. Ont bay, still cant seem to get pics on here but heres the link http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230911022932?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
10. Cheers guys. Like i say im not normally a pedal guy but i noticed a few reviews on the pedal praising its Valve emulation. Id like to give it a go just for that, ill use it normally then rather than putting it in the loop. Wil dig out some sticky back velcro and a patch cable and give it a whirl
11. Wohooo, i just won one of these on Hartke's Facebook competition. Never been a pedal user myself so not sure whether ill keep it or sell it on. One question tho - i dont like having pedals in the way on the floor so ill probably velcro it to the top of my amp. Can i use my Hartke's effects loop to use this pedal or should i just run it normally (i.e a patch lead from the pedal output to the amps input).
12. Ive been a long time user of Ashdown up until recently where i switched to Hartke. During this transition ive ran an Ashdown 330 with my MAG 414T (4ohm 4x10) and later the Hartke HA5500 thru the same cab. With the full ashdown set up i did get mud/wool easily (could EQ out easily enough tho) but with the Hartke head and Ashdown cab its just a really nice pure rumbling tight tone. Leads me to believe the wool came from the head not the cab. Im not just saying this because im selling the cab but im FAIRLY local so you could always give your head and bass a go through my cab. If you like it then we can do a deal or you could just go away knowing that Ashdown isnt for you
13. cant get any pics until im at our lockup next week. Only have this (admittedly very poor) iphone pic from the gumtree ad:- http://www.gumtree.com/p/for-sale/ashdown-mag-414t-deep-4x10-4ohm-bass-cab/1006575134 Did i mention im after a quick sale?
14. O.N.O welcome, i am after a quick sale after all (No trades at the mo)
15. Quick and unexpected sale this one. As usual I haven't remained GAS free for long and something has come up that requires me to shift my cab. This is an Ashdown MAG 414T Deep – which is basically a 4ohm 4x10 Cabinet. Photo's will follow once I get to our rehearsal space but this has the Blne Speakers with black cloth grill, white piping surround, single wing Ashdown logo, chrome corners and tolex covering. One or two tolex scuff's, the main one being a 1" square 'flap' on the back that can be glued down. Takes speakon or jack inputs. Great working condition and bloody loud. Being 4ohm is a great one-cab solution to getting the full power from your head. £180 ideally and would need to be collected from Bolton with local delivery also an option (the other cab may require travel between Bolton and Halifax so something could be done there I guess). This is only for sale while the other cab is still for sale on here – if that goes then ill be keeping the Ashdown.
16. Nope, he isnt paying until we've agreed a shipping price. The second bidder was only a £ off the winning bid anyway so its really no difference
17. [sub]Cheers Guys. Im wondering if i should ocntact ebay first to make them aware of my intentions to offer the second bidder a "second Chance" in case the buyer causes a fuss? I know the stories that ebay often side with the buyer[/sub]
18. So ive just sole my old bitsa P bass on ebay inc hardcase for £140. The ad specifically stated colelction only from Bolton so it was no surprise when the winning bidder contacted me to arrange delivery to Jersey!!!! They did (in fairness to them) try and contact me about 2 minutes before the auction ended asking if i would post to Jersey but i didnt get the message until they stuck a last second bid on it to win. A few online quotes are around £60 which the buyer said is ''ridiculous'' and asked that i take it to my local PO to get a parcel force quote. As the bass is in a hardcase im not to worried its more the inconvience of it all, especially when the second highest bidder had contacted me in plenty of good time to arrange delivery to manchester (which i said id do for a cuppa). Rant over
