1. Ill keep an eye out Cheers. Not really looking to sell as i guess they will only increase in value the longer i keep them, just intrigued really
2. Sorted through my old box of goodies (mainly valves) and i came across a set of 1976 precision bass pups that i bought as back-up years ago. Did a google search and cant find much on them price wise. Any of our vintage Fender crew have any ideas as to what these could fetch? All original apart from the leads which were replaced with cloth covered vintage looking wire
3. SVT through an 810e. With my flats loaded P bass - just pure sex!
4. Mmmmmmmm Ampeg valves, that's amp porn right there. Congrats on the amp, im sure you'll love it!

6. +1 for Roland, does all my valve stuff
7. I used to be a massive Ashdown fan, still love the tone but the thing that got me was their power ratings. They just never seemed to have the juice they claimed. I used an ABM500 through a 414T cab and it was OK, i replaced the head with a Hartke HA3500 and it seemed 10 times as loud!

9. Bought Pauls Boss TU-2 in an effortlessly smooth transaction. Delivery was pretty much instant and the pedal was immaculate. Deal in confidence BCers, Paul is one of the good guys!
10. Had about 4 or 5 looms off John for my various P bass projects but this time I was after something special. Thought I had it all planned with my special little cap and spoke to john to order the loom....then we had a little chat over PM and like some mystical magical shop keeper he says ''ahhh but sir, over here we have something veeeery special''. Fastforward around 24hrs and this here looms rocks up (with clear instructions and complimentary little screwdriver). whacked it in the love of my life and holy mother of f***ing god...the tone!!! Happy as always with Johns gear and cant recommend high enough
11.
Just get a p bass , an ampeg and be done with it !!
What he said
12. You know the ones, big orange efforts. Tank like build, LED's that can be seen from space. Comes fully boxed and was very well looked after by previous owner MB1 of this parish. Only flogging as ive invested in a teeny tiny headstock tuner. Collection from Bolton or could probably post for cost if i can find some bubble wrap
13. Just bough Seans Ampeg SVT this morning in an effortlessly smooth transaction, met me half way as well saving me around a further 40min journey. Amp is immaculate! Cheers Sean
14. Use mine as a bass amp. WEM dominator MkII with 15" celestion. Tone to die for and much louder than the wattage suggests. Have some old Brimar ECL82's in mine with a JJ ECC83, sounds amazing. If you are local to Bolton feel free to come and have a noodle on it

16. Last drop to £650 or will let th'ebay auction run
17. Had the 330 version a while back. As per yourself im very much a valve guy but loved the Ashdown. Miles better than solid state for me and swapping the valves for some NOS brimars really did the amp wonders
18. On ebay with bids but reserve not met. Will pull for reasonable offers on here to save ebay fees
19. What about - Ive tried a few (Vintage, Compact and the the midget), not BAD cabs but nowhere near worth the cost. Much prefer my Ampeg and my old Hartke AK
