7.
Chris, what a beautiful bass. You know that selling a p is only allowed, if you buy another p bass!? Good luck with your sale
Thanks Well, I did have a slight accident and bought a 69 Precision srom Si , so this is up for sale.
8. Hi Mark , Welcome to Cass Chat
9. Hi , Going up for sale is my 1973 - 1975 ? (Fender experts please help out) I bought this bass from Si a few years ago. Candy Apple Red , Fender Precision. Maple neck & board. The bass is all orignal. no mods. The bass has crazing to the front and back of the bass body. Lots of mojo and a great sounding and playing precision. The bass is sold with the original Fender hard case. The bass weighs 3.959 Kg / 8.728 Lb with both the pickup and bridge chrome covers fitted. £ 1850. I would prefer collection. I could post the bass or could meet somewhere to make life easier for any interested people. More pickies here ---- http://s1237.photobucket.com/albums/ff464/cmsb_horton/1973%20Candy%20Apple%20Precision/ Thanks for looking Best regards Chris
10. I bought an Epifani speaker from Marcin. Great communication throughout the sale , totally pain free Thanks Marcin
11.
I don't have a problem with my 4x10, it sounds great.
+1 to that. Ive used 410 cabs for years and love em I also have 210 & 112 cabs that I use but it is always the 410 I come back too. I have Epifani cabs which are light . For me, the 410 is the one cab that can do it all .
12. Thats really cool to know. I am, in the process of contacting Dave with measurements etc. I am looking forward to seeing the results
13.
That's what she tells me.
Naughty
14. These bass guitars are absolute tone monsters. I think there was a blue one sold on BC about 6 months ago for around £ 1100 The newer models (TRB6pii) are also awesome bass guitars. they have a slightly different tone as these instruments have the soap bar pickups. If i was spending the cash i would be very happy with either model.
15.
I guess that shows I've been pretty talkative in my time here so far, and it's a good sign - it means I'm comfortable and happy as an active part of this welcoming community.
Thats a great sign
16.
A big part of a bass having a good B string is actually down to string choice! Of course you need a well constructed instrument but i've found that finding the right string for that particular bass is crucial! The B on my sadowsky is good with Sadowsky strings but is AWESOME with DR strings!
You are 100 % right, String choice is critical Which model DR strings do you use ?
17. It is not a bass that i would have in my collection
18. I had a Yamaha TRB 5 fretless for a while, it was great. I wish I could have been able to play it I will dig a pickie out.
