Hello all, I have just purchased a head Fender Bassman an 2x15 cab, I believe its late '70s. It needs a revalve and a new pot. Im abit clueless when it comes to valves, so which to go for? I want to get the most out of the amp, but still have an authentic sound. Any advice would be apprecisted. Andrew

SWR are easily the best sounding cabs I have had, just to my taste, I could do with a f ew quid at the mo and some space, add this to lack of use... not fussed if they end up stayiung tho Karlfer - I guess they are a b it bulky and heavy compared to some stuff out there these days. they still sound great!!

Id like toy trains around my head and at a push (in a different tune) id even settle for a Kate bush duo, but my question is, can this be done live in a pub impressively? will the 4 channel calsbro PA cope with such a varitable feast of aural colours? -
Right, Fretless bass...compressor,some light octave, moderate chorus and some twiddley metal things on the fingers. Am I right or way off the mark?
