1. I used to say it's sunburst or nothing, but since I have had my '71p on Olympic white with tort, I have been converted! Looking at the trend on this thread, I think you have an answer!
 2. As previously mentioned there are two tiny dinks in the lacquer, each about 2mm each, one on the top of the headstock and one on the top of the body... I put the flash on so they really show up.
 3. Bump
 4. I have always fancied one of these, there's a couple on Baxter bass at the mo..
 5. I for one love it. Honestly, I could come out with far less bruises from some of the pubs I play with that. It would terrify the punters!
 6. Bump - I'm in today if anyone fancies a try! Near Ashford kent.

 9.
What do those extra two switches do? Good price & nice Bass P.S I think it is actually a Stealth 2 not a S2 Bren
Hi Bren, The switches are: LEDs mid cut/flat/boost And two series/parallel

Delivered at buyers expense and risk. price drop to £1100....i want to move this beauty on!

 14. What's the led mod all about then?
 15. Hello all, Looking to move my trace quatravalve as I have just purchased the Hexavalve on here, it has been recovered with trace Elliot tolex from British audio as the original was tatty and new chrome hardware. I fired her up this evening to find there is an issue with the graphic, some of the sliders are noisey when moved, also the 15khz slider illuminates the green, amber & red lights, I have taken the front panel apart and can see a small repair on the circuit (don't look at me) that could be the problem, also a break further along the line? see picture. I don't want to fiddle as I will probably make it worse, if it is that. I'd rather sell it as I have the Hexavalve coming. The rest of the amp is fine ie the preamp and power stage, the amp is userable with the graphic switched out, arguably usable (apart from the 15khz) with the graphic in. The buyer could repair the graphic circuit or look to replace, due to this I will knock a couple of hundred quid off and will let this go for £450 collected from near ashford, Kent, come and have a play to check it out.
 16.
Here's mine in action at yesterday's dep gig with a proper rock band (which isn't normally my thing, but it was mint fun). That neck pickup is a doozy.
Pooh good Zeppelin!!!
 17.
Hi Andy - do you know the weight?
It weighs in at a healthy 12.8lb on the home scales, just been advised its actually a '74!

 19. I think he will be a hit there, either that or there are a lot of bottled p**s coming his way! 😄
 20. Bought a bass collection 4 string from Gary, great comma, fast delivery and well packed... Cheers Gary
 21.
No-one could accuse him of scooping his mids....! ^
I saw that, the thumb sounded nice! He sounded like he khew the value of cash too 😊
 22. Yep me too was pretty good,...
 23.
I did have the Quatravalve and now have a Hexavalve (which TBH I never use anymore/enough). Big clean power from both, the emphasis being on clean, they do not really break up but you do get a fantastic growl out of them. I would say for home use, the Twin would be the better option as the Hexa is a beast. But then for me, the volume goes both ways and too much is never enough
Ooooooh hexavalve! The holy grail for me!!!!
