  1. The ‘Incomer’ has a holding deposit on it, if I like it it can be mine after I’ve tried it. If not the Genzler will be staying, hence the feeler. The Genzler is retailing at circa £700.00, I paid £700.00. The Genzler gig bag was £45.00, the PROEL Latching footswitch cost £10.00. Insured courier UK Mainland about £20-25.00. £560.00 would be a good price for head only based on the above, factor in the Gigbag, PROEL and delivery, £555.00 is a fair price. We mostly take a hit on new kit, 20% or thereabouts, more sometimes, I’m ok with that, I think it is reasonably priced. I was asked about its ‘sound’, it punches its weight in Class ‘D’ heads, IMO it wipes the floor with AG700 and the MESA offerings, it’s a simple EQ, even one I can understand I even get sense out of the Mid rotary. Enough already, I’m buying it back 🤭, no not really.
  2. Magellan 800 : The only reason I am looking to sell this magnificent wee beastie is an incoming head I have lusted after since purchasing my C4's. I have gigged the Genzler 5 Times and rehearsed with it maybe 12 times. Well looked after, living in its Genzler Gig Bag when not in use. Last gig I used it with 3 x C4's, it was exceptional. I will also throw in the PROEL Latching footswitch (£10.00) so you can switch channels on the fly. I've owned some good kit over the years and this stands head and shoulders above most of them with the 'Tuby' sound making an immense difference when needed. Check out the WWW for the official spiel, for me it does what it says on the tin. I have the original box and packing bits. Its all here https://www.genzleramplification.com/shop/magellan-800/ OVERVIEW OF SPECIFICATIONS: Power Output: 400W/8 Ohms, 800W/4 Ohms and 800W/2.67 Ohms Minimum Speaker Load: 2.67 Ohms Operating Power condition: 100 – 240V, 50/60 Hz Dimensions: 3”H X 11.25”W X 10.5”D (76.2mm H x 285.75mm W x 266.7mm D) Weight: 6.25 LBS (2.83Kg) SHIPPING DATA: Dimensions: 16.5”L x 13”D x 5.75”H (419.1mm x 330.2mm x 146.02mm) Weight: 9 LBS (4.08 Kg) ACTUAL BEASTIE:

  8. Hello BassDirect anyone?
  9. Me too, Genz 600 in my GAS days ( do they ever end?) and currently the Genzler 800. I find it easy to get ( what I consider to be) a good sound, lovin’ the ‘dirty’ circuit it sounds good with fretted and Fretless. Asked the question about running into 2 Ohms on their www and got a reply from Mr himself, don’t wind the Gain up too much and it will cope, was the answer. That’s a 4 (8 Ohm) Cab Rig if you want.. I’ve run mine with three C4’s, I’m a fan. Something worth considering, maybe, I initially bought an Aguilar AG 700 from BD, binned it in favour of the Genzler, no issues with changing either.
  10. 😎 and, er, Bass Direct?
  11. I can and will split these pedals, how about £60 for the Chorus 'Posted' and a £90.00 for the Compressor 'posted'. These pedals are in immaculate condition, if they are so good why am I moving them on you ask, well, I have just dipped my toe in the Multi FX pool with a Boss GT 1B. Of course I might find it too much of a chore to 'programme' it.... you all know what like... Thanks for looking. Just listening to the vinyl Three Sixty: Hamish Stuart, Steve Ferrone and Molly Duncan all ex AWB. I'm liking it .
  12. Bought Tony’s Boss Multi fx, just arrived from the Deep South of Belgium only took 4 days. Sweet deal conducted in a civilized manner. Parcel packed really well, what’s not to like 10/10 deal. Thanks Tony
  13. This an excellent quality bass case £35.00 on collection or, plus courier if you want it posted.
  14. Her we again, I have two EBS pedals for sale, both as new, boxed and unmarked except for the sticky Velcro stuff. Black Label Unichorus (£75.00) and the Black Label MultiComp. (£95.00) posted. Or take the two (posted) for £160.00. Thanks for looking
  15. Decided to keep it for the time being.
  16. Yep, now withdrawn. I played it yesterday, it sits well, sounds immense in Passive mode and by golly it looks amazing. No more hot flushes for me...
  17. Just bumbled into this thread. I put one of those Ovations in Part Exchange for my 1988 Warwick Thumb, in 1988 in R & B Music in Aberdeen. I found out much later that (allegedly) there were only three imported... lovely bass. GLWTS. I still have the Thumb.
