  1. Unfortunately, unlined fretless in a mass produced bass is pretty rare.
  2. Oh no, I am stunned and saddened to hear this. I'd been planning to drop in and see him next time I was in Monmouth visiting relatives. Such sad news.
  3. These are great basses! I had a six for a while, then realised sixes and I do not get on, so I sold it on. That said, I added another strap button to the other side of the bridge and it sorted the angled body perfectly, so I'd highly recommend that. Also bought some larger luminous dots off Amazon to deal with the visibility issue, which also worked really well. Yours looks lovely.
  4. Yep, I can and do make my own cables. The only reason I asked is because this patchbay has a USB though, which means I can use this to charge the power bank without detaching it from underneath the board. The 1/4" jacks were just a bonus and it made sense to use them for my input and outputs. If they work then all good, but if not I can just bypass them.
  5. Thanks, that's what I thought but wanted to double check!
  6. Specifically, a cable from by bass into the Rockboard Mod 2 patchbay, then a mono cable from there to my Boss MS-3 multi FX (I don't use this in stereo), and then from the MS-3 back to the patch bay and from there to the amp. I didn't spot that all the 1/4" jacks on this patchbay are TRS!!!
  7. Rebuilding my pedalboard tonight.  Downsizing a bit.

I would agree Rich, for the last three decades I never used pedals.  It's only by playing in a band that does a lot of 80s covers that some effects have been appropriate.

  8. I don't think they are taking orders at the moment anyway they are so busy. I think around £7k last time I looked!
  9. Thomann will have stock in 4-5 weeks and it'll cost £190.
  10. I have been looking at the HX Effects to replace my Boss MS-3 but can't justify the £499 price tag. This looks like it will float my boat for way less money. Speaking of which, is this available anywhere yet?
  11. Yep, simultaneous multiple effects and presets. Why would you buy the HX One when you can use this?
  12. That is a lot of bang for your buck. 21 presets!!!!
