1. Gonna be using mine at decent volume tonight at band practice. I will report back on how it compares to the Super 12...
2.
Either you need to wash that Bassman cloth or dirty up the Barefaced cloth...
Lol I reckon you're right.
3. Mine arrived yesterday. Only had a quick 10 mins with it at low volume but it sounds really really nice. I'm looking forward to band practice on Weds very much. Here's what it looks like with a 40 yr old Fender Bassman on top. A very cute half stack IMO.
4. I've ordered one! Apparently I have number 3 (Jah Wobble has 1 and 2). Excited!

feedback for Deedee

Just adding to Dan's positive feedback. Sold a cab to him - great comms, real pleasure to deal with, extremely smooth transaction. Hope it sounded great at the gig on Saturday night, fella!
6. Dan just bought an Epiphone Thuderbird Classic IV Pro from me. Absolutely flawless transaction - super fast payment, great comms, absolute pleasure to deal with.
7.
I had one of the first SuperTwelve cabs, but I don't remember being offered a an upgrade to a Super 12V. That's the one with the built-in battery, right?
That's the one. Bit difficult to try and squeeze into a pedal, mind...
8. Just dipping my toe in the water here as I'm toying with moving up a level on the Barefaced front (Retro 6 Ten) and wanted to see how quickly this one might move so I'm not cabless for too long (if that makes sense). I've had my Super 12V since new (bit of a wait for it back in the day) but my God it's been amazing. Such lovely clear tones and punch and also a one-handed lift (only 18kg)! It also has wheels if you're too lazy to carry it. Tremendous cab and can't recommend highly enough. If funds weren't an issue I would be hanging on to it. Photo below, but plenty more available if people want. Comes with Roqsolid cover and in great condition. Any questions let me know. Cheers! Dan Here's the spec for this cab from the Barefaced site... http://barefacedbass.com/product-range/super-twelve.htm
9. +1 for the VBA 400. Insanely lovely and powerful amp. Just a shame it broke the rear suspension on my car. And many of my vertebrae.
10. Every time I've plugged the cab in I've thought "these inputs are the same - it doesn't matter which one I put the lead into" but each time I've plugged it into the normal socket, not the extension...
11. I doubt there's any chance of that! When you say less power does that equate to less volume? I'm guessing it's not quite as simple as that...
12. I think that's what I always thought. Does that mean if I were to use an 8ohm cab on its own I would be getting less out of the amp?
13. I have a question about my 70's Fender Bassman. It has two speaker outputs and underneath them it says "TOTAL LOAD 4 OHMS". Does this mean each output is 8 Ohms? I have been using a 4 Ohm cab through a single output for years with no issues. Would it be better to use an 8 Ohm cab? I am genuinely confused...
14. Ahem *cough* http://basschat.co.u...iv-gibson-pups/ Mint condition with a fitted Epiphone hard case...
