SOLD Bought this here recently. But in the mean time got a lighter amp, so this is excess to requirements. It's a nice amp, 3-4 months old, great Eden warmth. Just bigger than I thought it would be. For whatever reason I can't attach files from my iPad and photobucket is playing up, so here's my eBay listing. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110980431325?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 As soon as I can attach a photo I will (although it will be the same pics as eBay ones). SOLD
Hi pal...really taken with this bass, looks lovely. Hard question this (apologies for that), but tonally, is it quite pokey and barky with a fair punch, or more of a smoother deeper low end sort of vibe? Thanks
Ooh blimey, ermm........rear pup solo'd think Bernard Edwards, front pup solo'd think P bass, but rounder/smoother. But that's just how I've set the 3 band mini pots inside the cavity. You could pretty much dial whatever you like I guess? I have it dialled mid scooped, but that's my taste. Hope that helps. Happy to post some sound clips/YouTube vids.
Any love for this in exchange obviously with a bit of cash your way........... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/188379-1986-yamaha-bb1100s-natural-bass-l250/page__p__1850797__hl__yamaha%20bb1100s__fromsearch__1#entry1850797
Nice! Never known a bad Yamaha. Like Blades, they are underrated, except for owners. I'm probably gonna be told I'm mad, but I'm really after something simple like a passive P. Also, I have a minimum cash limit I need for my parlour. John

You're right Ryan, he did stick a musicman up for sale.....and I now have it! Graham was a gent throughout the transaction, even wrote me instructions on how to get home quicker after I picked the Stingray up. I think he was keen to get rid of me before he changed his mind! Thanks, John
What an interesting and informative day, definitely worth the trip from Cornwall. So glad I didn't take my bass, would've been like taking a Ford Escort to a supercar show... but nice to meet everyone anyways! More ladies at the next one, please!!
It was good to see you there Rex, shame we never saw the Les Paul!
