1. I got this as off the forum about a month ago. It had plenty of cracks, bashes and other damage to the laquer and also to the finish on the neck and dints to the headstock. Since then ive done the donkey work and completely stripped down the body to the wood and given it a sanding (although it will need some more before its refinished) and ive also took the thin laquer type finish off the neck - this needs to be sanded. ive took the Status decal off the front of the headstock too with a view to reapplying a fresh one that i was going to have a friend in the sign writing/printing business make up (i could ask him to do this for a potential buyer?) my idea was going to be an olympic white finish to the body and have the front of the headstock matching (thought that would look nice too with the red status decal on it). if im honest ive stripped it down and sanded it and i cant really be bothered to do any more as im struggling to find the time (and effort!) The electronics are all original and intact. also will be easy to refit as only the battery holder wires need to be fed through the body and soldered on (i will label them up to there they need to go) so just two wires need soldering. Another point is the scratch plate, i put it in the worst place i could have - on the floor but if was leant on something else. this didnt react well to me standing on it, ive snapped the point off. i did plan to replace it anyway with a tort plate (nice on the white) and i was going to use a different shape too. I can send the old one out if wanted then it could be used as a template? Ive got all the original hardware too - bridge, machine heads etc Heres some pics of it in its current state Anyway this owes me about £180 but i got it as a playable bass so not really expecting that, how does £120 with postage sound? Cheers Rob

Typically, can't afford it now either.....freaking awesome basses!
It certainly is a quality bass! Wish i could keep it
 15. Dont really want to have to do this as im really happy with the bass. Bought from BC just a few weeks ago but things have started to go wrong with the car and I think il be replacing it soon, so this will really help me towards it. Ive nicked Chris' original FS thread for photos and description, so hope he doesnt mind.... http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...amp;hl=sandberg Its really a great bass and i was set on keeping it. If anyone wants: More photos A tryout More information Then please get in touch. I am in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Might be worth pointing out im without a cab at the minute and just got a tiny practice amp so if you want to fetch your own amp to get a true reflection of the sound (which is great by the way) then please do. Im after what i paid for it which was £700 and i can post it for an extra £15. I'd be willing to travel reasonable distances too if it helps anyone, something to discuss should anyone be interested. Cheers Rob
 16.
Hi rob is this bass still for sale ? Jynxter
Apologies, no. Closed a deal this morning so no longer available. Thanks for all the interest. Rob
 17.
Bloody hell Rob, this is twice in as many days that you've offered up something I'm interested in...... Says to self: I'm happy with my MarKBass I'm happy with my MarKBass I'm happy with my MarKBass I'm happy with my MarKBass etc. BTW, which band were you in?
Stop resisting and buy then both then! Il do you a special price if you buy both! I was in 'The Revival' based in Sheffield. Didnt actually get that many gigs under our belt but turned out the singer had a drinking problem - as in, he couldnt dink, yet drank excessively! the final straw was at our last gig when he fell over, and abused an overweight lady in the audience! Might have been more entertaining for me should i have not been on stage with him.... The guitarist came with him so when we kciked him out, got face on and went too. So now its just me and the drummer, and were happy hanging about until the right people come along, and when they do we use Yellow Arch in Sheffield where all the amps are provided so i cant see myself using this for a while as its will be some time before were at a gig standard, hence the sale! All that plus since ive split up with the mrs and sold the house im thinking of buying a ridiculous car that will use the value of the Terror bass each month in petrol! Rob
 18. My Orange Terror bass isnt get much attention at the minute after the recent collapse of my band. Im also moving house soon and to be honest the money would be handy to pay off those estate agents and solicitors fees (aka, legitimate thieves) and although small and compact its one less thing to move. Im going to guess that most people know what these things look like, but if there are any photo request do ask. Heres a link for a bit of technical info http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~name~O...ss~ID~11238.asp Considering the current retail price, and the fact that this is in top condition, used for 2 gigs and il also include the speakon-speakon lead im asking £400 which il include insured delivery with the UK For collection, take a tenner off and im in Rotherham South Yorkshire Cheers Rob
 19.
Rob, wish I had some spare cash, be nice to trawl this around the gig pit/dives of Rotherham. Just taken delivery of a (new to me) Ray so having to consolidate a bit until some gig cash comes in. all the best type bump
Thank you kindly mate. If its still about when you get a bit of cash together il give you it at a special price for a fellow Rotherhamite! Cheers Rob
 20. Dont believe these have truss rod. But also dont believe they need one! I had an S3000 once and what a great bass it was. Just sadly, not for me. If it wasnt for a new car, i may have put a bid in! I reckon who gets this will be getting a real good bass at a real good price. Just needs that bit of TLC and it has the potential to be a stunner! May be tempted if like i say, wasnt for a new car and lack of time for the project!! Good luck with the sale!!!
