2.
Nice to see another Status in Rotherham Rob. Wish I had the cash I'd love another one.
Thanks mate. Hopefully there will still be 'another' as I'm hoping to get a Status neck for a build.
3.
I have played this bass and can vouch that it has a wonderful neck with buzz-free low action. I think Status make one of the most comfortable neck profiles out there.
Thanks for the comment Mark Will reply to PM Chris
4.
Sold my stealth a few years ago and have regretted it ever since! Are you interested in trades?
Could be Chris, what do you have?
5. Status Graphite S2 Classic 2002, headed, through neck for sale Walnut body, gold hardware, Status Hyperactive soap bar pickups and 18v preamp. Lovely clean, crisp and clear sounding with a massive variety of tonal options. Controls are Master volume, Pickup blend, Treble cut/boost, Midrange frequency, Bass cut/boost and Midrange boost/flat/cut switch. The neck is very straight and the action is low. There is a small knock in the lacquer on the back, just under the control cavity plate. Its smooth to the touch. Theres also a couple of scuffs on the tip of the headstock, also smooth to touch but worth mentioning. These are all shown in the photos and apart from these mentioned it is pretty much spotless. Of course, it comes in the Status branded Hiscox Liteflite hard case. All welcome to come for a try out, i can post it too.
6. Hi Marc, Sorry for not replying sooner, the bigger combos can be coupled with one of these http://www.philjonespuresound.com/products/?id=125 For extra power although I'm not clued up to whether the briefcase would be any good with it, i don't think its designed for such use.... Unfortunately due to a new technical issue with it i am having to withdraw it from sale for now, good luck on your hunt if you've not found anything yet

8. Whats the routing like under the pickguard? Just wondered if its large or detailed round the pup?
9. Hi Donovan thanks for the interest. Afraid a bit of a negative response from me though...no gigbag/cover, no battery and cant really help with the line out question as ive never had the need to use/try it! I did price the battery up at one time and it was less than £20; to be honest id be happy to negotiate on the price to reflect this; if you're still interested then drop me a PM? Cheers Rob
10. Putting this up after acquiring a PJB Flight-case so has become surplus now. Great amp in good condition, id expect anyone who's tried/owns one will tell you how great they sound! A good volume too with 100w of power - I've used it at jam nights against a drummer and guitar/vocals through PA and it holds its own quite easily and without pushing it. Ive recently had it sent to Synergy who are PJB UK distributers/service and repair guys as it was making an interference type noise, they replaced the main output IC's at a cost of £85 but has cured the issue. Heres a link for tech specs http://www.gak.co.uk/en/phil-jones-bass-briefcase/30623 Anyway I'm in Rotherham South Yorkshire for collection or i can ship it as i kept the packaging it was returned to me in!
11. Cheers mornats. Yeh its a nice bass i didnt really want to sell but as stated my amp is poorly so need to raise some funds. It sounds great with the Seymour Duncans too!
12. I'm in Glasgow this weekend if that may help anyone with collection? Also possibly Birmingham next weekend.
13. Open to offers on this really need the money now the bills on the way
14. Ive revised my asking price; £300 was perhaps optimistic so now £260 POSTED Im selling my Overwater/Tanglewood Classic Jazz with SeymourDuncan Quarter pounders in both the bridge/jazz and neck/Precision position. Its not long been put together but my PJB briefcase is poorly so i need to raise some funds to help pay for it. This is quite a reluctant sale to be honest. Anyway it sounds great with the SD pups and as many people have put on this forum these are decent basses and looks lovely too. Ive also fully shielded and grounded all cavities with aluminium tape. Heres some pics It will come in an lightweight gig bag and if shipping required it will be well packaged and boxed up. Asking price £260 to include UK postage. Collection welcomed from Rotherham and obviously price will be adjusted as necessary. Please ask for any more info or photos. Cheers Rob
