7.
I really like the look of this bass , I'm just wondering , I play with heavy gauge strings tuned D,G,C,F how would this work with a carbon neck?
I cant speak from experience of that particular setup, but I can imagine it would work well, graphite necks are strong and in my opinion easy to setup and they produce clear notes right across the fretboard which might help with the heavy strings.
 8. Ok just got round to weighing this...comes in at 7.5lbs on some luggage scales
 9.
Can I hear any demo sounds anywhere ?
Afraid i havent got any recorded and im unsure how i'd get them loaded on here...any tips?
open to any trades?
Maybe but would have to be plus cash to me as ideally id be selling this outright...
Hi. Nice looking Status Whats the weight of this bass? Also, is it a Jazz type neck or a Precision? Cheers
Hi, don't have any scales at home but should be able to borrow some over the weekend and get back to you...its a good weight though, owing to the hollowness; shoulder friendly! The nut is 42mm so width wise more precision, the overall neck feel is typical Status, slim, fast smooth and ridiculous low action (yet still no buzzes)
 10. Made some adjustments to this the other day, the action is ridiculously low with no buzz anywhere
 11. Id be interested in discussing that possibility....
 12. Got this in black, great amp and the carbon effect looks great! Good luck selling mate
 13. Its too big for the bag! Oh no wait when you look closely its a trick of the eye!
 14.
I'm a big status fan, I've had one of these vintage j's before some years ago, never should have sold it as they are fantastic instruments with such a responsive feel, a quick neck and such a great tonal range..... Hard to come by now aswell.... Wish I had the cash to whip this up, I'm Surprised its still here (unless you've sold it )... Great basses and a stunning looking little beauty too. I will come back if I can manage to have a streamline of gear and make a few sales over the next few weeks.... These don't come up often and I'd sure like to add it to my collection Gutted that I can't even commit and offer a deposit at this point , I just can't as I'm unsure how long I could raise the cash....so don't hang on for me... But if it doesn't sell I'll be checking back in on this soon. Cheers, and apologies for a half arsed interest in your status, these things always crop up when your skint !!!
Thanks mate, indeed a lovely bass
Hi there...any chance you will take £700 ......cheers.
PM'd
Hi Rob, sorry to hear you didn't get on with this one. I've got a nice Limelight Jazz but it's a bit......erm, worn
Hi Mart, how are you? Your welcome to have a play on this one if you want, being a fellow Rotherham and Status man! Thanks for the offer with the Limelight...but not my thing mate sorry!
 15.
Used to be mine this one, I had it from new and traded it with happy jack, great bass and at this price its a snip!
Thanks mate
 16.
Trades ?
I could really do with the cash, but would consider trades for Fender Jazzes
 17.
Damn it, not this fantastic looking bass again! I thought it was all nice and gone so I can stop thinking about it... Somebody, please, buy it quick for the sake of my sanity... Not that you need it but - GLWTS.
Thanks mate, its a lovely bass sorry to put it back under temptation!
If you happen to fancy a '78 Gibson RD Artist let me know, been looking at these Status' for a while now but need to shift the Gibson first.
Thank you for the offer mate but not my thing, should mention that id really prefer a cash sale, many thanks though
 18.
If you ever have the feeling that a boutique 6 string will suit your style more at any given minute, have a look at my signature and drop me a note
Thanks...lovely bass but id be lost with all those strings!
