  1. Would sure love to try one one day. But unlike the trend at the moment my hands feel most comfortable with the longer scales and big basses with 5+ strings
  2. Up for sale is this terrific Serek Midwestern 2 5 String in medium scale. The condition is as new and there isnt even any damage to the nitro finish (still got the protective foil on the electronic cover). I received this bass in a trade for an expensive bass from the original owner. Honestly I thought Sereks were a little hyped up until I played this one. What a sweet and organic sounding bass! With a great and totally useable B sring btw. (better than many big name 34 inchers). Its light weight and balanced, has no deadspots and plays beautifully. Currently strung with Dunlop Flatwounds. The hype is legit Specs: Mahogany Body Mahogany Neck Chechen Fingerboard Serek Single Coils Volume, Tone and Pick Up Selector Switch 32 inch Scale Frets: 21 Vintage Nickel Nitro Finish Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite Original Serek Gigbag in grey Weight between 3.3-3.4 Kilogramms Having a hard time selling this one but I am not a bass hoarder and my basses of choice are modern 34 inch+ basses. If you are looking for a lightweight, compact 5 string for long gigs that sounds great in the mix, this will fit the bill perfectly. These basses have become hard to get and there is a long waitlist now so here is a great chance to get a new Serek on this side of the pond. Shipping throughout Europe is no problem. Asking 2950 Euros. If you have any questions just pm me. Thanks for looking.
  3. Bump and price drop to 1450 Euros/1250 GBP for this sweet Jazz in fantastic condition
  4. Sweet basses! I thought it was all hype until I tried one...well I am a believer now. GLWTS
  5. Ralf bought my AtelierZ 5 String. Everything went super smoothly, easy communication and a quick deal was made. Thanks a lot!
  6. Actually never shipped one to Japan...but many stores will ship to Europe and overseas. You could try www.digimart.net or https://buyee.jp. Also there is Danny from Bass Japan Direct that has his "bass hunter service" where he will track down a bass and have it shipped to you (of course for a fee, but its not too bad).
  7. Things you wont hear at a gig?..a Pbass with flats 😉
  8. If you want a great 24 fret 4 string with a Musicman/Bongo type of sound on 9 volts I can recommend you a Human Base Roxy B4 or (or BaseXoc). Also German Basses with a superb build quality and a price that just cant be beat. I recently had a used 5 string version. It was the best bang for the buck in a bass I ever had (too many to mention, id be embarrassed) and in fact one of the best B Strings I ever played in a 34 inch scale (including Ken Smith, Fodera etc...you name it). Everyone who played it was knocked out by it. Top knotch fretwork, super comfortable bass. The Glockenklang Preamp runs on 9 Volt and is very versatile. I prefer these basses a lot more over Sandbergs (living in Germany I tested many Sandbergs over the years..). And they are even more affordable. Thomann regularly gets a few in (Human Base is a one man builder so output is much smaller than Sandberg). There is an ancient youtube review done by Ed Friendland of the 5 String version (for some time period these were put together in the US, but from what I know they are now done by Human Bases Siggi Jäger in Germany):
  9. **sold/pending payment**

This one is still from the Metro Japan era. Very well taken care of, the frets have no discernible wear. Original Sadowsky case included. 1850 Euros, shipping within Europe is no problem. If you have any questions just PM me. Thanks.
  11. Bought a bass from Pete and am super happy with the whole experience. There was a huge delay and trouble with the carrier (Eurosender) but Pete went out of his way to get everything right. He even offered me a total refund should it get lost (!)..now that is something you dont hear everyday. Thanks Pete for all your efforts and for an amazing bass. Highly recommended.
  12. Beautiful bass!
  13. Ben bought my Leduc M4 and was 100% straight forward and always fast to reply. It took a little longer to ship from Germany to the UK but Ben was patient throughout the whole time and never stressed about it. Thanks for the deal and enjoy your new bass

  21. Nice Bass! Celinders are as good as it gets as far as Jazz Basses. Just wondering: has this one been refinished? Also it looks like it might have been fretless initially?
