I am finding the transition from 4 strings to 5 strings very difficult and I am prepared to cut my losses and trade this bass for an older 4 string with a good reputation. I will travel anywhere within two hours of Birmingham, but I also have business dealings in Newcastle and Glasgow. The attached pics are stock photos as I have no camera at the moment, but as the bass has only been used three times there are no marks on it.[/size][/font][/color]

    I have just bulit my first pedalboard, I have always used one multi-effects unit in the past but fancied a change. This is the oder I have them connected on the board Wireless Receiver Korg Pitchblack Tuner Marshall SV1 Chorus Boss ODB 3 Digitech BP50 Multi Effects. Does the order on the board make a difference to the sound, if so can someoine suggest the best order for these pedals. Many Thanks

    So, I've got my shiny new iPad for Christmas. Can anyone recommend some good apps for Bass players or musicians in general for that matter. Do any of you use your iPads in a live situation?

    Ok, so I’m quite new to Bass (about eighteen months now) and have been part of a gigging band for about twelve months. I must admit that for the first half dozen gigs I could not get on stage without a fair few drinks inside me, mainly not due to the Bass parts but the vocals I add to a couple of songs. Recently however due to circumstances (gigs being a bit farther afield requiring me to drive) I have played the last two gigs completely sober, and I must say what a revelation, I can hear the mix better, my timing is spot on and I have been able to perform the vocals with much more power and clarity. On the whole I would like to recommend playing sober as a much more pleasurable experience.

    So my band have just recorded a three track cd of covers with the intention of distributing it to pub/club owners to try and get more gigs. Have any of you guys any experience of this?, is it effective?. Also, where do we stand legally by recording covers re. the PRS?
