1. Sorry to all that have shown an interest. having just played a friends u.s standard p then this at our practice rooms i know i will just regret it :-( and although gas for other gear is killing me,i know i wont get anything near this for the money. these top end squires are a true treat....with added little outgoings (new pups and maybe pots etc)you will have a top notch bass at a fraction of the cost of somthing that feels and sounds similar.......if your not to bothered about the squire logo! i like the fact it says that ;-)
2. Just took her out and noticed a small nick in the varnish on top of the head stock( wood is fine).carefully touched it up with some clear.not very noticeable tried to show in pic.... Knock a tenner off price.
3. Here is my squire matt freeman bass, meant to be £340 for trade not £380(can't change it?)which is fair considering upgrades and condition.don't let the name fool you, this is of exceptional quality( as reviews over the net will tell you) similar neck to the cv bass and based on his 77 p ( 42mm nut)I have upgraded the pickups to dimarzio dp122's(the originals will be provided(standards are similar to Mexican pup)the dimarzio's really thump them lows n mids :-)also fitted a kiorgan wiring loom( premium pots and cap) with some nice flat top knobs. The feel of the neck and sound of this bass is absolutly awsome,it is my number 1 bass that I always go to ,easily on par with a Mia p. Is fitted with a mint blue scratch plate( black provided) the bass colour is more yellow than in these pics Great condition ( less than 8 months old). Reason for trade is I have mainly used p basses but now fancy a change up:-) jazz,pj w.h.y? Willing to post, no hardcase but will come in fender box well packed.
4. I've cut down on a lot of effects now, don't really use anything but dirt much.
5. Not tried the 4001s loud yet, might set up that way for next practice.

12. :-D mosfet on the first channel ( always on) 2nd channel led as well.it's great having the 1st channel ran into my Vtbass bass as my tone :-)
13. Doubt I'd really need more headroom than it could give,so think I'll give the 12v a miss :-)
14. No worries, I'd have done the same.it mentions using 12 volt usage on their website
15. I have a vintage microtubes inbound and wondered if anyone has tried it with a 12v power ( as the info says you can)?.... Much change?

20. Hi Dan. I was actually debating asking you about the bdpg! In 2 minds about it? ( not sure if it will be to dirty for my board/set up?) I'll wait a little to see what else comes if that's ok.:-)
21. TRADE PENDING! It Sucks I'm doing this as this is easily the best fuzz I have ever used!tons of great comments etc on Bc. ' apparently ' fuzz doesn't work to well in our songs!! Hmm....(our guitardist uses a lot of octave and drive) far to good a pedal just for me to use at home. With the mids knob and blend this thing can cut thru the mix with ease. Only had it a few weeks and only been at rehearsals thrice..... So is as new.and considering the 8 week build wait (as with tom's pedals was well worth it). This has (as far as I know) a custom resin finish Pics up later Trade for preamps ( tone hammer ideally) or a decent comp, mainly markbass
22. I have the matt freeman 1 Popped in some dimarzio dp's in it and anew kiorgan loom....fantastic, My go to bass :-) bar the weak stock pups, the neck, feel and sound of this bass is awsome! Won't find better for the price anywhere imo
23. 2 brand new flat top precision knobs (screw type) £4.50 posted
