1. BUMP for new price as |I've seen a bass I want!! BARGAIN!
2. Awesome bass as you'd expect. A 1984, 62 reissue Jazz in black. All original and in fantastic order. Few dings etc, all character building! Just set up by master luthier Dave Dearneley, who loved it. Comes in deluxe Fender padded gig bag. Will consider trades or part ex for good quality Precision or Stingray. Based in Barry.
3. New price of £400 and can be sent in functional but battered hard case.
4. An excellent example of an SB bass in fantastic condition. Only selling as I was so impressed with it, I broke the bank and bought an SB Black and Gold. So, now I have two extremely similar basses again, which was my new year resolution not to do!! Plays and sounds brilliant with a low action and great tone. Nice wide neck and great string spacing. This is a great price as I'm selling it for what I paid. No offers please. May consider trade for Precision or similar. South Wales area. Cash on collection preffered but will courier in a box at buyer's expense. Cheers, Dave.
5. Cool! If you fancied trade talks can you send me some pics and more details please mate? I’ll inbox you my email.
6. Would consider either mate. What ya got?
7. An awesome example of the heralded JV Series. Was kept in storage for decades by the previous owner who bought it new in 1983. As you can see, it was made on November 1st 1982. The only thing that is not original are the pickups. She has brand new USA Fender 62s now but the originals are included in the sale. The bass plays and sounds amazing and has few signs of wear for a vintage instrument. Will trade for an Aria Pro 2 Black and Gold SB 1000. South Wales area. Have box to send if required. Any questions, PM me and I’ll reply ASAP. Cheers, Dave.
8. Ashdown make outstanding amps, heralded the world over. Whoever told you to avoid them probably has no idea, or is going on the advice of someone else who has no idea. I find there’s an awful lot of gullibility in the bass world. An example would be; the ABM 500 is sh*t according to Brian, who plays in a god awful blues jam band, has poor technique, doesn’t know what tone will cut through a mix, uses the eq to set a bedroom sound that won’t cut it in a live situation etc.. the same amp is used by Nate Mendel in the biggest band in the world. Many people unfortunately listen to Brian.
9. Yep. The shape button sounds great in your bedroom but doesn't seem to cut through the mix as well as when it's off. Probably the best bass amp out there IMO.
10. I'd get your coat Stevie. He kind of knows what he's talking about!!
11. My Orange Bass Terror and Barefaced Midget T sound outstanding, and is tiny and light.

13. An awesome industry standard all valve SVT amp, that my current gigging situation doesn't require, hence the sale. Just had a full MOT from Tony Packer in Porthcawl and given a clean bill of health. Is housed in a moulded SKB USA flightcase (not in photos), making it not too heavy. An amp that everyone should own once. It is in tip top condition. Trials are welcome at my home in Barry. Strictly no couriers!
14. There's a lovely SVT 810 in the for sale section for £250! I'd snap his arm off if I lived nearer!
15.
Hello Everybody! Update on the ol' Buggerer... Started using it in April and, although I don't take to every gig, it's probably been out 15-20 times and all well so far. Sounds great and doesn't give me any cause for concern. Gets a lot of comps on the bass sound. I'd def. recommend it as a cost effective alternative to an SVT, for sure. I'd put it against one anytime and challenge anyone to tell the difference in a blindfold test. I think I'll start looking around for tatty old 8x10 to put it with...
16. Why hasn't someone bought this? Bargain of the century. Big and heavy yes but when you stand infront of it and play your bass, you won't care!
17. All works great. Small paint stain that could be sprayed over. Selling as not needed. Based in Barry, South Wales.
18. Good condition and all working great. Comes in padded cover. Based in Barry.
19. This cab is in virtually mint condition. It weighs in at only 18kg and is an easy one hand lift. This cab has had very little use and retails at £500 without the cover. This cab sounds amazing and has loads of bottom end and clarity. 400 watts @ 8 ohms. Comes with also mint Roqsolid padded cover. If you're looking for a cracking one cab, full range solution that is light and portable; this is it. Has great clarity and tone. Priced to sell and trials welcome at my home. Based in Barry in South Wales.
