Time for another sale, Up for sale is my Jon Shuker Satinline P/J Bass. Its an incredibly pretty bass and setup beautifully as you would expect from a handmade bass from Jon. For those unaware of this line, this was built in conjunction with Bass Gear to produce a Jon Shuker custom bass but with a set specification. Having had a discussion with Phil from Bassgear I discovered that this was the only P/J produced in this run of basses so in effect is a one off Jon Shuker special! Condition is 9.5 out of 10 and has only been used for a handful of gigs. The hardware is black throughout and the stained orange and black wood has attracted many compliments on the attractiveness of the finish. The bass is finished with bare knuckle pickups which produce from traditional P Bass sound through to a bright tone when the Jazz pickup is enabled. The maple neck is piece of art with a Jazz profile and a smooth satin feel. The frets are in great condition and the setup is wonderfully low, so much so that it almost plays itself. Weight wise this sits at slightly over 8kg and is beautifully balanced. With all these factors you may wonder why I am selling the bass, the fact of the matter is that I am scared to leave the bass anywhere when gigging. I will be going on tour in a couple of months and playing a number of grubby venues which given my propensity to get leathered after every gig makes me worry about the safety of the bass! Price wise I am looking at what I paid at £695. For the quality of the worksmanship and components this is worth every penny. Trade wise I'm pretty picky, I would be interested in any Yamaha's BB range and also any MIJ Fender Precisions. Collection is preferred and can be organised from London or Brighton dependent upon the day of the week. I think thats it, apart from the pictures! Hi everyone, Looking to get rid of some old gear so expect some other items in the next few days. First up is a nice Jim Deacon P Bass I picked up last year with the intention of upgrading but haven't got round to. As you can (hopefully) see from the pictures it has a beautifully flamed neck which wouldn't be out of place on something much more expensive. There is some slight damage to the heel of the bass which has been fixed by the previous owner but all things considered this is a lot of bass for not much money. As some may know they are made out of the same factory as the SX brand so quality is much higher than the price you pay. I'm looking for £80 to get it out the door. Will deliver if required but collection from Hove preferred, Can also deliver to London during the week. Hi, Up for sale are a couple of bits and pieces I have knocking about that I haven't got round to using. 1. SX Jazz Pickups - These are in good condition, give a pretty good output. £15 2. Ritter RCG700 Classic bass bag - These are £35+ brand new, this has a small tear in the bottom from where my strap lock has poked through but still offers total protection to the bass - £15 3. Rockbag Deluxe bass gig bag - These retail for £45+ new, this is in as new condition, don't bother buying a new one and save a bit of cash for the pub. £30 Happy to have anything delivered but obviously prefer to have collections from Hove. Pics on request.

Me too! Just to point out that I would either like a cash or bank transfer for the bass. I've had to turn down a couple of offers for this due to not being a paypal-er.

Thanks for the comments, they are an unknown quantity to a lot of people but well worth a try. Only looking for a sale on this unfortunately so no trades.

For Sale, my Status Groove made right here in the UK! Its finished in a nice maroon colour and has a couple of dings but nothing major and certainly nothing that would effect playability. For those not aware of them they are Status' attempt at a Musicman-ish bass. It has the same bright tone but is actually a fair bit slimmer on the neck and is pretty damn rare to be seen in these parts. Sale wise I don't really want to mess about reducing the cost so £250 is the price. These have sold in the past for £300 so even second hand this is a bit of a steal. Trade wise I'm pretty open aside from anything over 4 strings! Pictures will be up tonight, I've put up a looky-likey for those who can't wait! This was originally my bass from New. I can comfortably say this is the nicest precision sound I've ever had from any instrument. When I bought from Gak I tried this against 3 other mike dirnts and this one just had a certain something in the sound that made it superior. Good luck with the sale, whoever buys will be super happy.
