1. Sounding like Justice certainly isn't a bad thing, thanks! Any guesses as to what song it originally started out as a remix of?
2. Thanks for the feedback - we're working on something new and it's got more than two chords!
3. Here's the first song from Dead Boar Project, a little project between me and a friend. A little different but we're eager to know what you think!

5. Manchester Arena is a long way off for me yet!
6. How crunchy/growly can these get? Can't find any examples on Youtube or anywhere.
7. Went to Brum and thought the overall sound was spot on - although I would have liked the bass to have been a bit more prominent. I thought the strings really added to the songs. They some how managed to make them sound more epic, especially YYZ.
8.
i have a complete mental blank and forgot every song i know, so i end up playing my own bands stuff.. using the logic that its what i will play most with the instrument so would be a good test
Generally this and a walking bass line which was one of the first things I ever learnt.
9. Just missed out on a T-40 on eBay beause I didn't realise I wasn't signed in when I clicked bid. Missed out by a second. Bugger.
10. What's the going rate for getting these beauties imported from the US?
11. I've got an RBX170 fretless and RBX270. I've had the 270 for eight years or so and it's really well built and plays wonderfully. The neck is nice and thin. Like most of the chaps above I've never played a bad Yamaha, they're all really high quality with a consistent finish.
12. It's a Peavey T-40 so it's quite rare they come up for sale over here at a decent price. Think I'll give it a miss.
13. The price of this is quickly heading north of where I thought it would. Thanks for all your help.
14. So the bass I'm hoping to get is £312.19 plus shipping. And I'm assuming I pay the insurance for the shipping and I don't get it back? With insurance set at $400 dolalrs the duty calculator thing tells me the landed cost will be £614.36. Does this sound right? It's a lot if so.
15. How much should I be looking to insure then bass for during delivery?
16. I'm eyeing up a bass on eBay in the States at the minute and will probably put a bid in tonight. At what point would I have to pay VAT/import tax and all that stuff?
17. After almost a year of not picking up bass I found a new band in July this year and we've just recorded our demo, let us know what you think! First gig in a couple of weeks! Sorry, forgot how to embed Soundcloud clips.
18. The three pots on my '75 reissue seem to have a problem. They work, and turn smoothly as they should, but there's no maximum and minimum. Whereas before they obviously stopped when they got to max, they now jsut keep going. Is this an easy fix?
19. WTF?! Didn't think they'd be splitting up. I thought they were recording their album in L.A?
20. **SOLD** For sale is my Marshall VBC412 bass cab. Bought off a fellow Basschat user a couple of years ago, I've only taken it out of the house a handful of times, and since I'm no longer in a band I have no use for it. Works perfectly fine, but looks roadworn. Personally I think it gives it more character but that's just me. Cab is located in Peterborough, although I may be able to re-locate it to Barnsley, South Yorkshire at a weekend. Pick-up only due to size. Yours for £100. Pics to be added tonight.
