    Agree to all of the above. Soul to squeeze is a master stroke - released as a single after John left (he’s not in the video) but was recorded during bssm sessions.

    He was immense on the “off the map” live DVD, but BSSM is something special. I happily listen to all the RHCP stuff, and I skip some of the mediocre stuff on Stadium Arcadium (could’ve been a single CD). I enjoyed the last two offerings and still have them on rotation on Spotify. And this from 1.10 onward

    There was a little tab of it in Bassist magazine (about 1997) and I was in awe that I could play something instantly recognisable. My mum was washing the pots and said “was that YOU?!?” I was so chuffed.

    Yeah, it belongs to one of the guitarists in vulfpeck, along with a sonic blue classic vibe P. there was one on eBay for about £110 last year.

    They were an over the lacquer waterslide decal, mine had it. Only takes a bit of damp (or polish as stated) and they’re done for. the pickups and Pickguard aren’t original - or at least the solid “EMG” style covers on the pickups aren’t. still a lovely bass.

    Fretsonthenet do reissue surrounds. But the Yamaha pickups (if still available) will be about £300 from Yamaha (2024x set)

    Yeah. This looks like a kid made a Musicman copy for gcse woodwork. Love Vulfpeck - but not in the slightest swayed by this. if one of the cheap Sam ash MM copies (Carlos Robelli) turns up on eBay - I could be swayed.

    Yeah, I’m out of the game for a while. A BEX 4C I should have never sold has come up for sale - the guy who bought it has had a custom build based upon it and it’s now gathering dust...not for long 😉
