  1. I have. 3 times. Bought some strings and a gigbag.
  2. Didn’t. The buyers are musos with passion. my experience of Dawsons is a mixed bag. I worked there for 12 years, and my last few were Dire.
  3. Pfft. Miller fanboys pfft.
  4. I’ve just had a picture. Unbelievable.
  5. Running In The Family and Staring At The Sun remind me of late 80’s drives in my dads green Volvo 340GL
  6. No. It was either a Whamaha, or a (De)Fender
  7. Aaaarghhh! I’ve just fell off my chair. I’ve been sick as well. Too much to handle.
  8. Whoa whoa whoa. what’s all this Trav malarkey - we can’t be confusing the issue... hi Trav...I’m Trav too. hi I'm so confused. like the first time I met another boy called Andrew. welcome x
  9. Quite a bit of interest but nothing concrete yet - still here. BUMP
  10. You were supposed to stay quiet until i could find the pennies!
  11. That’s a beautiful modern headless - car woes and home improvement prevents me from exploring further. But good lord I like that.
  12. Love a burst.
  13. @Ceebass that’s so awesome - brilliant.
  14. It depends if the pickups are sealed units. next time you do a restring, unscrew the 4 mounting screws - see if the cover pulls out without the pickup magnets etc. If it does, it’d just be a matter of slipping the new cover on - nothing too hectic. If it doesn’t - leave as is.

  16. The jam+ can be left with latency (why you’d choose that...🤷🏻‍♂️) or you can select zero latency. makes life so easy.
  17. @Christine May know?
  18. I know what you mean - I’ve actually always preferred solid cover pickups - for the same reason people use those ramp jobbies.
  19. this has improved my recording life immeasurably... Just a lovely item. Although - thinking on, I wish I’d got one with an xlr mic in for recording acoustic...this can be circumnavigated... It is ace.
  20. While I can’t afford to pursue the plan with the natural - I’m not destitute. When I owned my old MM - I used to tape over the bridge pickup polepieces, I seem to press into the strings and catch my fingertips on the raised polepieces. Now I’m older, and wiser - I can see the pickups aren’t sealed into the covers. So - to eBay... Had to buy two sets - but at £4 a Chuck, not bothered in the slightest. Probably won’t need the neck pickup ones - but might do if there’s any “clicking” from contact. my Sadowsky doesn’t have raised polepieces on the j pickup, so it doesn’t bother me - but on all of the stingrays I’ve owned it’s been an issue too. Just got soft hands 😂
