1. Matamp 1 x12 combo based on the Chino. Collection preferred from Beccles, Suffolk. £500 ono. I could post at cost. This has been my main amp for many years. It’s been gigged but still works perfectly. Here’s some details: Black cabinet, ported, with removal rear panel if you like the open cab sound. Two tone twill grill cloth. 12" Celestion Century neo speaker. 2 x 6L6 tubes, 3 x ECC83. This is one of those self-biasing Matamps that will basically take any tube. Spring reverb tank, completely shielded and padded on the bottom of the cab. Master, treble, middle, bass, gain, reverb, pickup - this is a bias control, tightens up the sound, so if you're using humbuckers and want to tighten up the sound you go one way, if you're using single coils and want to go fatter, go the other way. It's excellent - when using a different guitar you can just give it a little tweak to get the level of responsiveness you want. Parallel FX loop Footswitchable reverb Direct record out, 16R, 8R speaker outs Power selection switch - triode/pentode – 15 or 7 watts. Usual Matamp loudness. 2. Up for sale is my custom Sleeping Dog FX dual preamp. I had this built as I used to switch between acoustic guitar and electric bass in the band I'm in, but I'm solely electric bass now. Would be great for those that play electric and acoustic bass too. It has a K & K pure preamp for the acoustic side and a Tech 21 VT bass preamp for the bass side. It has separate inputs for acoustic and bass, independent outputs for each channel, a global output and a tuner output with mute switch. It also has a bypass switch for each channel to remove the preamp. It's in excellent condition and sounds great, just no longer needed. £115 ono. Open to trades. 3. I bought a Hofner Club bass off Mike. Great guy to deal with and a lovely bass. Thoroughly recommended!
4. Up for sale is my K & K Pure Preamp XLR in great condition. Only selling as I now have a custom preamp to switch between acoustic and bass. £80 posted.
5. I'd also recommend New Orleans, it's the coolest place I've been. Clarkesdale was great, stay at the Shack Up Inn but remember the onsite Juke Joint is closed Mondays. I was abit underwhelmed by Memphis. Drive the Natchez Trace Parkway if you can.
6. I agree, a Shure SM57 works wonders for a National style resonator. This thread has some tips too which I found really helpful: http://michaelmesser.proboards.com/thread/5785/pick-ups
7. Yep, sorry.
8. I recently got this but moved on the amp. In excellent condition. £35.
9. Decided to hold on to the DI version so selling my VT bass v2 (with speaker sim button). In excellent condition. £Sold
10. Version II with the speaker sim button.
11. Any interest in a Tech 21 VT bass?
