I'd have to desolder the pickup though right?

I have two Fender Japan Mustang basses and I'm thinking of swapping the pickguards as I think I'd prefer sunburst/tort and cream/white. The sunburst is a '96 and the cream is a '17. Does anyone know if the pickguards are the same? I'm not comfortable enough to try this myself so would have to get a tech to do it, but don't want to bother if anyone here knows for sure it won't fit. Cheers.

Did you get the one on Ebay or the one on Gumtree? I was set for the one on Gumtree but the guy sold it the day before my mate could collect it. :-( I'm certain they only did white and red. I had a red one but didn't like the colour so moved it on. I'm still looking for a white.... I remember the red being heavy!

When I used to play electric guitar in a band I sometimes did this with my Bluetone Pro30M combo. I would get a good sound on stage but if the venue was big and I wanted more spread of sound I would use the line out to the PA. It always sounded good.

Ilian bought a PJB acoustic cub off me. Super easy to deal with and thoroughly recommended.
