1. Tried it with about five different leads, makes no difference.
2. I have a problem with my Crate BT100 combo. Basically, whenever i plug in and turn on, everything is fine for about a minute, then i get this interferance like crackling sound coming through the speaker. I have plugged my headphones in and everything seems to be fine then, so would i be right in thinking it's a speaker problem? The combo is rated at a 100w, but i've never taken it past halfway. Any ideas before i lug the thing off to a repairer?
3. Just like to add that the Schecter was mine until a couple of weeks ago, and is a very nice bass for the money. The ding is nothing much, and apart from that it is in really good nick. It plays really nice and would be a great buy for anyone looking for their first fiver, or a cheap back up bass. I can also say that Mel is a great person to deal with.
4.
Is there any interest in the Ryder if I part it out?
May be interested in the pup. Are you sure it's a Stealth as i thought they had black pole pieces?
5. Sold a bass to Mel. A pleasure to deal with and would happily trade with her again.
6. I totally agree with the op, i too love both the bass guitar and music, and on the odd, rare occasion, i sometimes even manage to combine the two.

8. I'll take that bridge mate, pm me your payment details please.
9.
Pics added bump Neck sold.
Still waiting on a pic of the Gotoh mate.
10. PM sent on Gotoh bridge.
11. So if this gets bid up to say, two grand, how much is this guy going to owe Ebay in seller fees?
12.
I'd have that pickguard (Pearloid) in a flash if it had the proper cut away for the truss rod
Console yourself with the knowlage then that it's just plain black, not pearloid. Tuners now sold.
13.
Is the scratchplate left handed?
Nope, it's a regular righty.
14. Here we have a very good condition Westfield Precision Copy in black. I bought this a while back for my next project, but something else has since come up so this is now surplus to requirements. Bass is in really good nick, and everything looks and sounds as it should. The only defects i can see are two tiny nicks on the headstock (so small i couldn't photograph them) and a small chip on the surface of the fretboard between the ninetenth and twentieth frets below the E string. I have restung this with the strings that came on my Squier VM Jag and they are virtually unused. Looking for £75, supplied with a brand new Westfield padded gig bag. Would prefer a local pick-up, but may post at buyers expense if no local interest.
15. Set of chrome tuners from a left-handed Encore Precision, no screws, £7 posted Brand new 3-ply B/W/B pickguard for a Precision, shop said it was to fit a Mexican, but was a very good match for my Squire Affinity, just a couple of holes needed re-drilling. Bought for a project, but no longer needed. £10 posted.
16. If it's of any interest, i had a replacement tort (more brown coloured than red) pickguard made for mine by Bass Doc which i ended up not using on the re-furb. If anybody wanted it i'd let it go for a tenner posted.
17. Hi, i have a couple of these. The first i bought on Ebay a couple of years ago for about £60. Did a total restoration on it and it's now my favourite bass. See here for the re-build thread. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=...p;hl=encore+ltd I recently purchased a second one on the bay for the princely sum of £30 which will be the basis of my next project. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...e=STRK:MEWAX:IT In my eyes, these basses are worth a lot more than they actually sell for so my advice is to keep hold on to it and do something interesting with it.
18. I would just like to say what a top bloke Andy is. He very kindly collected, and posted on to me a bass i bought on Ebay. I hope i can help him out at some point in the future to repay his kindness.
19. I had one of these as my first bass, loved it but sold it when i needed funds for a car. I bought another a couple of years ago which had a similer bridge problem so i swapped it out for the Gibson one and it's been fine since. It's a great bass, but i don't really play it very much so may move it on in the not so distant future as it seem a shame to have it just sitting the not being played, just not sure i can bear to see it go
20.
I was just wondering if they looked like this on the bottom Or if it had a big magnet on the bottom.
Ahh, understand now. And yes, they are like those.
