1. The bassline for We Are Your Friends is an absolute cracker
2. Lovely bass and great playing, have a bump
3. This is a 3d locking bridge, the 'tuning fork' model so you can adjust your own string spacing, great condition rounded model in satin chrome. Heavy duty and solid as a tank. Comes with correct Allen key Has come off a Marleaux and has the logo subtly etched on (see pic) A link: http://www.ets-hardware.com/tuning_forks.php These are £100 new so I'd like £45 collected from Bath or £50 posted Cheers
4. Selling my US Fender Jazz bass 4, black/maple beauty. Believe its a 2010 model, clearly not new but there's barely a mark on her. I got her from the original owner. This is a good one, even feel and resonance all over the neck, no dead spots, does all the things the classic jazz should, growly and snappy when required but deep and smooth when the tone is rolled off. Through body stringing, sounds and plays great! I've put a gorgeous red tort guard on to compliment the black, but will also include the original white one (see pics). Comes in the original excellent condition SKB case with strap/lead/cloth etc. but no tool. Given its condition I'm asking £699 collected from Bath or £730 posted in the UK. Not looking for trades thanks, this is a downscaling exercise The pics, just ask if you'd like any more or any question please ask http://s1302.photobu...s?sort=3&page=1 Cheers

9. +1 for the Ken Burns series. Really great chronological doc, with insights from the protagonists and the likes of Wynton Marsalis, in a fascinating sociological context too. They repeat it on PBS all the time.

11.
Attitude I can appreciate but she looked like she was trying to eat her own head.
Lolz!
12. Blimey... nice playing tho
13. Yep I have only praise for this excellent forum. In any demographic a percentage will be malcontents and as BC grows there will inevitably be more griping from those who don't like change. Lets enjoy what we have here - aim low, play bass
14. Did a long distance trade with Slapierro, a pleasure to deal with and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Thanks Pierre
