1. Anyone for the FZ-2? I'll take £90 inc. postage if anyone's interested, otherwise it's going on eBay on Monday .
2. Ahoy there! Long-time, no posting . Anyhoo, the time has come for me to clear out a few unused pedals that are simply gathering dust at home. They are: 1x Boss FZ-2 Hyper Fuzz http://i37.tinypic.com/1zedtop.jpg http://i35.tinypic.com/2j14eww.jpg http://i38.tinypic.com/23syezt.jpg http://i36.tinypic.com/sxi39d.jpg http://i38.tinypic.com/2h2quiu.jpg Price: £95 (inc. postage) 1x Digitech X-Series Bass Synth Wah http://i38.tinypic.com/2dv7me8.jpg http://i33.tinypic.com/mrpts.jpg http://i38.tinypic.com/2v3ptt1.jpg http://i38.tinypic.com/6h7rrk.jpg http://i34.tinypic.com/2r27s7m.jpg Price: £50 (inc. postage) Both pedals are in absolutely perfect condition, not a mark on them whatsoever - I hope the pictures I've provided show this. Neither of them have ever been used at a gig and, frankly, have barely been used at all except for a bit of bedroom noodling and a smattering of band practices. Both units are in 100% working order, no issues with the actual footswitch, the knobs or the LED. They've been run solely from a power brick so they've never had a battery in them or been powered by battery. I'm selling them both at slightly less than I originally paid for them (£65 for BSW and £110 for the Hyper Fuzz) and I will include RM First-Class postage in the price for each of them. I'm afraid I'm not interested in any trades, swaps or deals, just a straight sale at the advertised price. Payment via PayPal is preferred. If you're interested, drop me a PM or an email at fgsgsd. Thanks, James. .
3. So yeah, simple really: Digitech X-Series Bass Squeezer (Dual Band Bass Compressor) - Brand new, bought it about two years ago when I discovered the wonderful world of bass effects but simply never used. £40 inc. postage. EHX Nano Bass Balls - Again, brand new, bought it really to see if it would spice up my sound a bit but really could find no use for it. £40 inc. postage. Boss OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion - Has had a fair amount of bedroom usage but never gigged and is in full working order, few paint chips here and there. £30 inc. postage. I'll consider any offers but no trades thanks. Just drop me a PM . Cheers.
4. Hehe, I have that very amp as well, gathering dust. Good little starter/practice amp, it's pretty wrecked now because I had to max it out to be heard in my band before I got my Laney.
5. Clunge

Bass Synth...

Blowtorch does it perfectly, though running something to give it a touch of grit beforehand really really helps a lot.
6. Hello from Cardiff as well! Cathays next year for me too .
7. http://www.ebs.bass.se/2007/acc.htm Halfway down. Apparantly stocked here: http://www.gbguitars.co.uk/
8. If I bid and win, could I pick up? I live in Cardiff at the moment. Chars.
9. Purple are so fun to play on bass, Black Night, Strange Kind Of Woman, Bloodsucker, Speed King Fireball, Maybe I'm A Leo, Into The Fire, Demon's Eye, Highway Star, Never Before, etc. Mmm.
10. Y'ok, I've been looking around for a long time and I was wondering if anyone could suggest an absolutely tip-top, low-gain bass overdrive pedal to use on it's own and in conjunction with some meatier, synthier fuzz sounds.
11. http://www.chunksystems.com/os.htm I was intrigued so I had a look too. I shall be sampling one of these as soon as they're ready.
12. Well I'm going to order my custom looper soon, and am currently looking around for a tip-top, low-gain overdrive pedal. On the way out... well my Deep Impact sold for £307 last night, and I'm also going to be selling my Digitech Bass Squeeze and my Russian Big Muff Pi.
13. Bump, 9 hours to go. Still only at £255!
14. So due to being a poor student/never used it since I bought it really... I'm flogging my Deep Impact. It's spent 3/4 months since I got it in its box, on a shelf whilst I've been at uni. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=290214547988 There is no reserve on it so it will sell, starting bid is £250. Cheers.
15. If I had known a few hours earlier, I'd have been there.
16. Give me three weeks, and maybe another sneaky price-drop, and I'm your man.
17. Well... I personally, within the bounds of the music we're playing, can't see any real use for the feedback loop. And yes, I'm working on a very compact board tbh, about 7/8 pedals inc. looper but they're all quite compact pedals. It'll be interesting to see how I can fit it all into my board . Might have to look for something a bit bigger...
18. Crazy noises are not really something I'm requiring . Just need a beefy, fuzzy tone for certain songs and a thick, heavy tone for others. Basically, need to low-end to be kept as much as possible (playing in a three piece, riffy sort of band).
19. Bumpety-bump. http://www.bargeconcepts.com/vbjr.html I'm very much considering a purchase. Can someone possibly give me the low-down in simplistic terms? I'm just looking to be able to crowbar in a lump of clean tone with my effects which possible (?) with this chappy. I know there's a larger/more complex version, but I'd really like to keep my board small if possible If you think the benefits of the bigger pedal are so great that it would be pointless getting the micro one, lemme know. But keep in mind I'm not really wanting anything fancy from this, just some underlying beef when using slightly trebly/tone-sucking units.
20. I see. My guitarist has a Bad Monkey, I'll give that a try next week.
21. I absolutely love my Bass BT. It's not the most versatile pedal, but it sounds massive if you tweak with it for a bit. The only slight bother I have is its fairly poor level of sustain, notes just, well, die!
22. Ahh, that's not in the order I use them. I'm at uni at the mo and can't even remember which order I use them in . I think it's usually... Deep Impact > OC-3 > BSW > Blowtorch > EHX NBB. Hmm. I was looking at the SansAmp Bass Driver or the EBS Multidrive, any opinions?
