1. Been reading this with interest, the tuner/rehearsal inputs/headphones etc interest me because since i sold my combo i have no quite practice equipment at home How do these compare with LMII heads soundwise?
2. If so what did you think tone/mix in band, also what kind of music?
3. One band I play with has 2 loud guitarists (as if!) and the LMII holds its own with plenty to spare, this was not the case with a 300w head i used to use
4. I used a fender valve combo designed for guitar for a band doing pubs and weddings during the early 90s Could keep up with the footy scores on the radio through the amp during those long sit arounds at the wedding gigs as well!
5. If lightweight had never happened, and Markbass weighed the same as all the other classic ranges of amps and cabs we know and love (or hate), do you think they would have muscled there way into being a well known brand of bass equipment?
6.
Blimey, you don't earn much.
Or he has a fantastic accountant!
7. where are you based? silly question, just seen it
8. Anyone gigging a vintage in or around the surrey area soon?
9. I currently have a deal worked out to ship both of these cabs to someone whom I have agreed a price with We still have to arrange shipping and the transfer of funds If for some reason this does not work out, I will contact those who expressed an interest in the cabs and post again here
10.
Are you interested in Ampeg gear?
Yes, could be, do you have an ampeg amp on offer?
11.
If i had the money I'd have them in a flash. Good luck with the sale.
Cheers, they are great cabs
12. is this the wrong time of year, had x2 interest for each of the cabs to split, but no real offers?
13. have been pm'd a fair few times re splitting the sale, Im open to offers and trades
14.
I could be interested in the 115, any idea on price - or would I have to make you an offer...
Please make an offer, someone asked this also about the 410 BTW I also have a quality flight case for the 115 which I have not factored in
15.
did u use the orange ad200 head with these?
no, always intended to get one
16.
would you split? ie. how much for the 4x10, just don't have room for both - how old are the cabs, did you play them through the AD200, how did they perform? Ta
I am not against selling separate, open to offers I guess? I dont know how old the cabs are as I got them both 2nd hand I think the 410 has 1996 on the rear label(its stored at our practice room so cant confirm now), and believe the 115 is quite recent (only based on the guy I brought it from having it from new, and suggesting he used it for a short time with the baritone guitar?) Anyway I cannot confirm 100% the history but know they are in good cosmetic condition and function wonderfully Both cabs have a fantastic tone and punch, I have gigged both the 410 alone and with both stacked
17.
where are you based?
Claygate, Esher, Surrey, about 10mins up the A3 from the SW corner of the M25
18. Hi < see pic to the left Both cabs for sale £700 the pair or trades? OBC 410 and OBC 115
19. I brought a 2009 MIM Pbass early this year, only brought new because I wanted a certain colour and maple neck, this was not an option on the MIA, which I am glad of because the MIM I brought is great, I will keep it forever I have been tempted to change the pickups, but I am not unhappy with whats in it, if they are low, then my gear does enough with it anyway Cant recommend them enough, Im no expert in basstech, but have owned and played a number of basses since 1987, and this is worth the outlay (or at least amazing value if you can find a 2nd hand one)
20.
Has the 'Line 6 BassPod XT Live' been discontinued? The reason I ask this is, some shops say "Sorry this product is no longer available". Thanks
Yes its been discontinued and is replaced by the x3 live, which does everything guitar, bass and vocals, but its alot more cash We do a few who songs, summertime blues is fun and goes down well (I know its not who, but we cover the who cover!), Wont get fooled again is on our new list, which I am supposed to learn for monday What kind of gigs will you be doing with the tribute band?
