  1. Hi, so is this an AVRI? Cheers
  2. Well I did kinda assume as much, so do many other amps have this? Can’t say I’ve seen it, thank you
  3. Is this a stupid question but why the 2 inputs? (Active & passive basses)?🤷‍♂️ why would you?
  4. Bargain, forget your PJB headphone amps these are another level and no cables! love mine
  5. Some strings from David, as described, good comms & quick postage (Inpost), spot on
  6. Hovering very slightly under 10lb on my bathroom scales
  7. Good morning & thank you (it plays as good as it looks too)😀 i'll pop it on the scales when i get home
  8. +1 Steinberger, all these years on and it's still groundbreaking, cut short wayyyyy too short too early, stupidly sold my L2 last year! perhaps a 42mm nut with a shallower neck profile and you have perfection IMO, the strap design worked well and wow what sustain, is that because of resin as opposed to graphite? the pure 'mass' of the construction
  9. tiny bit of heat and cotton thread, it wasn't stuck on there that well in the first place........GO FOR IT, scratch plates are sooooooo 1980's🤣 (IMHO) what the combination on your's? rosewood? quilted?
  10. Hi all, I have this stunning Musicman 20th anniversary (1976-1996), stunning flamed maple with birds eye maple neck, immaculate other than very slight tarnishing of the tuners and a small ding by the jack socket. I have taken the pickguard off as I think it looks far better without it (it was only stuck on, I’d need to find it) I’ve also changed the knobs to black as I think they looks better (imo), of course I have the originals, comes with its original tweedy type hard case, plays great, these were I think made for 1 year only in a limited qty.
  11. i've got a these and i must say they're brilliant (i was using the PJB headphone amp and i got sick of all the cables, it was all just such a 'Faff') this is a different level, whoever buy's will be impressed (and i've only scratched the surface of the possibilities). GLWTS
  12. and about as graphite as say..........a new Status🤷🏼
  13. that's me, and i can testify the neck finish is soooooo smooth and from memory a very comfortable 42mm nut? i wanted to recreate the 'custom shop relic' feel/look and it came out brilliant (IMHO)
  14. and you haven't even posted a picture of the back of the neck! thats the best bit😀
  15. Hi, thanks, what's the best way to do that, i thought i did🤦🏼‍♂️
  16. that's exactly what i came up against with Fender/Squier bridges i had lying around
  17. Ah nice, do you re-call where you got it?
  18. Hi Lewis, i have one of these (in FS at the moment too), i'm interested, where did you find a bridge with the holes that line up because i couldn't find one, it seemed that the the holes line up differently from the original 'hi-mass' bridge, did you have to 're-drill' as id probably keep mine if i can get a direct like-for-like replacement like this one, thanks in advance Rog
  19. Hi all, continuing with my gear consolidation, up for sale is my Squier CV P (crafted in China). it's in stunning condition apart from 1 tiny ding on the front (close up pic included), recent GHS precision flats and since this pic i've put a nicer/better quality tort guard on (original of course included), lovely Pino look to it with nice dark fretboard, the neck actually looks quartersewn which after a bit of research doesn't seem uncommon on some of these (but don't quote me) no case i'm afraid (so pick up preferred), no offers or trades (unless you have a MM4 USA 2eq Nat/Maple, + cash from me) please as i don't really need to let it go but its just sitting in a back bedroom unplayed! these early Chinese run Classic Vibes get great reviews and are gaining almost cult status. (will update with a 'proof of ownership' pic when i get home from work) Pino on a budget!🤣
