1. Thank you so much Barrie, you're a top guy too! Indeed this cab is wonderful in every sense and the reduced asking price almost a joke.
2. Thank you mate. Still available this brand new and boxed monster green wonder!!
3. No problem at all mate, best luck with the sale. It's great preamp!
4.
so all of a sudden I am getting lots of messages asking if still available... and then no reply after that... very odd.
Well Luke, in fact this is what you did it to me.
5. Hi there mate, I have another one in a different finish that I use every day. This one is boxed and unplayed so they work in 4 Ohm and I can't go to 2 Ohm in my amps using a couple of them. It's a great sounding cabinet, very easy to handle, classic, warm and with a good amount of bass for the size, a great presence in mids and very organic and natural highs. It has a regulable tweeter too. For sure it's not a DB/GS 410 in term of pressure (neither in weight and portability luckily), but for small/medium gigs I absolutely love it. I hear every detail of my playing with that cab and despite the small size sounds very loud thanks to the 4 Ohm resistance. Very nice cabs and very rare in Europe too, more in this great colour.
6. Brand new in the box Aguilar DB 285 JC. Limited edition cab currently unavailable. http://www.aguilaram...ets_db285jc.htm From the press note: "Aguilar Amplification has announced that their new DB 285 JC cabinet is now shipping. The DB 285 JC was designed with legendary Hot Tuna/Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady, who was looking for a portable cabinet that would reproduce the dynamics and articulation in his playing. Aguilar CEO Dave Boonshoft worked closely with Jack to get just the right blend of deep bass, accurate midrange, and smooth treble. The result of their collaboration is the "Little Jack" -- a cabinet that is perfect for any bassist who wants big studio quality sound in a package that is easy to get around. The powerful cabinet handles 300 watts RMS into 4 ohms and houses two 8" cast frame woofers and one 6.5" midrange driver for a full range of tones. With a wide frequency response and a sensitivity rating of 95 dB 1W 1m, the DB 285 JC is designed to pick up subtle nuances in your playing style." It's still sealed in the box, but if you need some pictures no problem in opening to do that. Like this but in Monster Green finish: http://klangfarbe.co...weed-g31145&q=3 I will throw this little wonder with the Aguilar padded cover (£135 value) in brand new condition with tags. Price paid for the cabinet + the cover: £935. I would like to recover for both [s]£[/s][s]550[/s] £540 + shipping (about £65 - £70 to any European country) for a straight sale. We are talking of a boxed cab with the intact 10 years warranty remaining. Open to trades adjusting cash either way but not with this very low sale valuation in that chance. I'm specially interested in a 80's/90's Stingray, American or Japanese JB or P-basses, Gibson or maybe other classic 4 strings basses. Just let me know what you have through PM: Don't let the fact I'm in other country put you off, I have purchased and sold many gear in this forum. Check my excellent feedback for your peace of mind. Cheers

11. You guys are wonderful. Thank you very much for your opinions. I'm going to choose the GS at a very affordable price just now and who knows... maybe in the future I would be able to pick a DB too. Cheers
12. Hi Barrie! Thank you man. I am an old school guy in terms of tone, so I guess the GS sound works better for me so it's the classic Aguilar trademark sound. In the other hand I'm almost sure that these DB cabs are better in presence and definition giving their special voicing... and this is a plus in big gigs. The weight factor will be at the end quite important too.
13. Thank you mates, truly interested what you said. I have played through GS and DB 112, 212 and 410, but it's time for a 412 and don't want to fail in the purchase choosing the wrong series.
14. Hi guys, I'm going to purchase one of these cabs at a very good price (same in both models) and it's not easy for me to choose between both. I have owned and played in the past many smaller DB and GS cabs that I know well, but I don't have experience about the 412 ones. I know the DB is voiced with more mids than the GS so maybe it will be more clear and focused, but it weights 149 lbs given the 7 ply construction vs 116 lbs of the 13 plywood construction of the GS. Do you have listened or played one of these particular cabs? Your thoughs or preferences of one over the other? Thanks a lot for your time.
15. Very very nice! Are you sure is Candy Red? Looks to me more like a Radiance Red: http://forums.ernieball.com/music-man-basses/11316-what-colour-ernie-ball-music-man-bass-finishes-guide.html

17. These basses are great, with a sound between a P-Bass and Rick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfwsosgQoG4 Good luck with the sale mate.
18. Another Wall, a Wood Wall to be more precise: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=291099923985&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:ES:1120
19. Thank you man. Yes, the invoice paid was that high. Too many high end components picked, imported and set-up for one of the best luthiers of my country
