1. Hi mate, you are in a unrivalled position then so here I am if you want to make it possible. Cheers
2. No problem mate, it's 49600. Time to remember I'm also open to trades guys, I have all these cabs at home and my missus is close to the heart attack watch them every day!! I would accept four stings high end basses or even an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 + a SL112 or a couple of SL112 for any of them as well.
3. Thanks a lot mate, Indeed the DB412 is absolutely amazing paired with a DB751, but works incredible with any other amps as well. Tested mine with other three heads the results have been great. Same for the DB810, in fact I still don't know which one if my favourite between the two cabs.
4. Hi Molan. 10 years here in Spain, maybe the extended time comes from the local distributor, I really don't know. In any chance all the cabs are still unregistered so the first person in do that will be the one who will be covered for the warranty, confirmed by the distributor. About the price I don't know exactly the average cost in UK. Here's a couple of examples from The London Bass Gallery: http://www.thebassga...=Bass%20Cabinet http://www.thebassga...=Bass%20Cabinet As you stated Moster Green and Chocolate Brown colours are special orders from USA and at least here are quite more expensive than other finishes.
5. Wow, sorry, my mistake! Aguilar uses always custom Eminence USA speakers as far as I know.
6.
Do you know what they load the 412 with?
Hi Sean, It's 4 Ohm so I guess any medium power head in the market will be fine. I use a DB751 with that cab.
7. You can bet on it Andy! I use one DB412 with one of my bands and the 810 with another one and we don't need to mic them for medium stages ! Anyway they sound superb at a very low gain as well.
8.
I couldn't make it out from the photo of the back of the headstock, does it say 'Made in Japan'?
Yes, all the top of the line of the actual Gretsch catalogue is Made In Japan since Fender FMIC took control over the brand years ago. As a long time Gretsch fan and user I can assure you that the specs and overall quality are better than ever these days.
9.
Do forgive my ignorance please, but what is that thing on the back of it..?
No problem mate. It's the classic Gretsch back pad, adds nothing to the projection, tone or sound of the instrument but protects the body from belt buckle scratches and in certain models as the Country Gentleman guitar was made to cover the hole made for installing the electronics. No hole in this model by the way, you can easily snapp of the pad in seconds if you don't like how it looks.
10. I really love this bass, arguably the best piece in my collection, but I don't have the chance to use it with my band and this beauty deserves to be played. It has been ultra well cared and used only in a couple of recordings in the past. Made in 2011. Weight is only 7.3lbs. Set-up with a very low and comfortable action. Complete with the OHSC, Certificate, all the documents and keys. Comes with a brand new D'addario Black Nylon strings set and a DR Sunbeam roundwound one. This Gretsch is a work of art, Japanese craftmaship at its best. The construction, hardware and electronics are top-notch. It has a great array of rich, warm and punchy tones and the feel is superb. You know how it looks, this is the most beautiful bass ever done imho: Even it appears as available pre-order in a couple of UK stores, AFAIK it's discontinued since the end of 2012: http://www.soundsliv...ET-241-1412-805 http://www.pmtonline...le-cutaway.html It's an as new bass of £3091 so for a straight sale it's yours for £2490 shipped insured to any EU country. You are saving a lot for this really valuable instrument. Please any proposal though PM. 12. The most versatile and better sounding drum machine in the market imho. As new, almost unused. I paid £420 for it four months ago so £250 I guess is a bargain. 13. The last guitar of my collection, I really love it but deserves to be played and it's stored in the case under the bed without any use. Gibson Custom Shop SG Standard VOS Maestro Historic Collection Classic White from 2008. I still have the invoice of 4490 euro (£3540) paid for this guitar six years ago with the shipping cost, VAT and customs fees from USA, so I'd like to recover for a straight sale at least 2850 euro (£2250) shipped with full insurance to any EU country. REDUCED TO £1850 SHIPPED INSURED. Just a very slight mark made with a nail in the thin nitro finish under the back of the headstock, no dings, scratches, fretwear or any other cosmetical or functional issue. Set-up with an ultra low action with no fret buzz at all. Stays tuned for months even with an intensive use of the Maestro vibrola, it's really lightweight and a joy to play thanks to the slim 60's neck profile and has a resonance, sustain and big sound to die for. 14. Traded an Aguilar amp for the Tonci P-bass and all was superb in the deal, great communication, great packaging and been informed in every step of the process. Definitely an asset to Basschat and a great guy to deal with, absolutely recommended. Thanks!
15. Awesome bass from a very nice and absolutely reliable guy. Buy with confidence!
16. Hi mate, Not sure if a DB750 is so loud as a kid, but it sounds better! Now traded for the P-Bass of my dreams. Thank you
