Hi Molan. 10 years here in Spain, maybe the extended time comes from the local distributor, I really don't know. In any chance all the cabs are still unregistered so the first person in do that will be the one who will be covered for the warranty, confirmed by the distributor. About the price I don't know exactly the average cost in UK. It's the classic Gretsch back pad, adds nothing to the projection, tone or sound of the instrument but protects the body from belt buckle scratches and in certain models as the Country Gentleman guitar was made to cover the hole made for installing the electronics.
