SOLD

Hi Molan, thanks for the downloading. 37 cm of extremely well balanced body in the widest part, a little less than a Gibson EB-2 or a Gretsh hollowbody. The pictures are not bad at all but watching this bass live is a real experience. ^_^

SOLD

A credit card on fire and a high end Alembic are always a recurrent couple!
3. Absolutely stunning John, have a bump.
4.
I have a Fender Ambiguous
I could be interested. Ladylike rosewood or androgynous maple?
5. And for the second time on hold in two weeks the potential buyer can't collect the money finally, so available again... Here's a review over the 55-94 Classic (cheaper than this one) with the new Lakland electronics: http://www.doctorbass.net/en/producto.asp?...dfam=1000167717
6. Take a look here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=72821
7. No problem mates, sorry for the inaccuracy so I guess it was a discontinued model for my conversation with a Basscentral worker days ago, but looks like is available as a custom order, my apologies for that. About the price: What I know is what I paid for it with the UPS shipping from the States and the customs fees once in Spain and I don't wanted to lose a lot of money here but a new lower price is already placed, anyway take a look at the Modulus site for quotes so this one has many features with an extra cost over those £1675.00 base price stated: http://www.modulusguitars.com/v3/vj.php -Fretless (specify with or without lines)$100 -3-tone burst $100 -Bartolini active preamp with NTBT tone system; active bass and treble $100 Cheers and thanks to the good fellows here.
8. Thanks Bubinga, I always try to get the best from the best in every piece adquired from my gear and this one is GREAT, looks and sounds like a million bucks. As stated in the first post it's just a feeler by now.
9. Thanks Andy, this bass is INCREDIBLE and at least the best 55-94 between all checked when the purchase.
10.
Rough night on the beer last night, Im surprised I even managed to bump the correct bass!
11. Great lookin bass mate! VTC installed? Hi-fi/modern sound or vintage alike? Cheers.
12. Thanks again for your words. This bass is a beauty, no doubt here, but the main point is that sounds absolutely incredible so I can't resist it even I am a 4 strings guy.
13. I know I will miss this one a lot but someone will be truly happy with that deal: My gorgeous 2008 US Lakland 5 Strings 55-94 Deluxe. If you are looking for the perfect fiver this is it, the more expensive and advanced bass in Lakland catalogue. Swamp Ash body, Quarter-Sawn Rock Maple with Graphite Reinforcement Bars neck, an amazing blue translucent quilted maple top with clear pickguard, birdseye maple neck and Lakland USA LH3 preamp and pickups. The bass is in near mint condition -just a tiny ding scrape in the head stock- and comes with the manuals and the original cream Lakland case. The case was only one time outside home but was enough to acquire just a few scuffs and spots, otherwise in perfect shape. Perfect pro set-up with brand new Elixir strings, low action without any buzz at all. Picked brand new at Basscentral (Florida) this year between almost a dozen of 55-94 with Bartolini and Lakland electronics, this one was the winner in all ranks: The best sounding, lighter weight and better and bigger resonance of all of them: http://www.basscentral.com/lakeland_usa/lakland_55_94.shtml I don't know exactly the weight but it's ridiculous light (I guess about 7 lbs), even lighter than any of my 4 string basses. It's truly difficult to get this model in Europe so it's a high end american bass: 4200 USD street price in the States + taxes, more than 3500 pounds in Europe with shipping and customs fees. So I'm looking for £2200 or euro equivalent + shipping to any european country, a real bargain given the street price of that piece of art. If doesn't sell no problem at all but I can't lower this price and lose more money with this mint condition selected bass. Definitely you are more than welcome in give a try to this beauty here in Spain (or any friend or relative), you will love it, my promise. It's hard not falling in love with it so the LH3 REALLY nails the MM, Jazz, and P-bass tone and then it has a unique voice of its own too. So now it's your chance, maybe the only bass you would ever need that unfortunately is not for me so I just can't manage a 5 string even this purchase was my perfect excuse to begin with it. Honestly I just don't know how a bass guitar could be made any better or play any better than a U.S. Lakland and this particular 55-94 is one of the best done, looking and sounding basses in the world period. Will be fully packaged in its case and then placed in a larger outer cardboard box with tons of bubble wrap between the case and the box so no harm will come to it at all. For 70-75 pounds to any european country will be in 4-5 days at your home with a traceable express shipping. From all of you interested in the history of this bass here's a copy/paste of the mail that Mica Wickersham (Alembic customer service) sent me yesterday : Hi Javier, Sorry this took so long for me to complete the research. Here's the details from the instrument file: top and back: 5A Quilted Maple accent: Purpleheart 1/8" laminate body: Mahogany neck: 7-piece Maple and Purpleheart scale: 32" medium fingerboard: Ebony inlays: mother of pearl ovals peghead: Bookmatched Crown body shape: Standard Point pickups: AXY with humcanceller (not connected) controls: "Anniversary" vol x2, filter x2, Q-switch x2, pickup selector switch, stereo/mono mode backplates: continuous wood truss rod cover: continuous wood straplocks: recessed option: Prepped for Series electronics option: string with .040-.100 option: tailpiece must be dead center birthday: October 16, 2002 originally made for: Bass NW custom order There's a note in the file with tracings of the backplates when Mary requested the complete set of 4 plates be made in brass. The work order called for a C serial number code, but it was left off in error. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Best regards, Mica ---------------------- Mica Wickersham Thomas ALEMBIC, Inc. 3005 Wiljan Court Santa Rosa, CA 95407 707-523-2611 phone 707-523-2935 fax [email protected] ---------------------- By the way, is still withdrawn.

16. You know the bass: http://www.warwick.de/modules/custom_shop/...age=1&cl=EN This is one of the best instruments you will find anywhere, a dead mint condition Custom Shop Warwick Infinity NT Flame maple (Warwick CS Number 150). Never been out of the house, much less used on a gig, is immaculate. Comes complete with his flightcase (or a highly padded Premium Warwick Rockcase of the same value in brand new condition, your choice), COA -Certificate of Authenticity-, Manual, Documents, Gold straplocks, Custom Shop owners kit, Keys and all the case candy. Factory pictures: Here you can see in these recent pictures the bass is the SAME condition than when was made, not any single scratch, ding or even dust on it. Retail price of this breathtaking Custom Shop Infinity NT AAAA was 5170 euros (4525 pounds) as you have seen in the link provided; 2007 quote so place an order for this same bass just now will be mighty higher. There is not other Infinity like this one worldwide, it's a unique and stunning piece so it was handmade to custom specifications: High polish finish, golden hardware, "F" inlays, Hipshot D-tuner and a careful selection of woods. This one despite this beauty and masterwork it's IMHO quite warmer, fatter, sweeter than a factory Infinity and has the most organic, complex and beautiful tone I've ever heard in a boutique bass of any brand. It's truly lightweight, the neck is fast and comfortably, the action very low without any buzz and with the glossy finish the wax is not required. So why I want to part with it? First of all my credit card is on fire and even I truly love this gem in my actual 60's band there's only room for vintage stuff and this bass is preserved without use so now it's your chance, this is a TERRIFIC boutique instrument that will surpass all your best expectations. You will love it, my promise. This is the best price in Europe today for a cheaper factory (non Custom Shop) Infinity AAA Flame maple: http://www.musicstore.de/en_EN/GBP/Warwick...-BAS0000051-003 WITHDRAWN DEFINITELY. All the best.
