Sorely tempted on this one Karl.....
Good 😁

The cynic in me wonders if the cheaper to produce Mexico range will replace the US Professional & Performance range, leaving Corona to produce American Vintage & Custom Shop?

Nice bass Karl - it would go nicely with the Elite Jazz you sold me. 🤔
Indeed it would. Get yer wallet out 😁

I’m amazed this hasn’t shifted yet, let alone get any interest. Fingers crossed ☺️
Cheers Matt, so am I, although there have been several trade offers for gear that's not required.

Monster bass for someone with the £1250???
You are of course correct. I'm happy now to discuss a sale & catch a Jazz when one comes up.

I gigged this outdoors on Friday night & indoors on Saturday night.
On both occasions it sounded huge & so authoritative.
I'm no longer in a rush to move it on, my thinking being using it at more formal gigs where I don't goof around on the fretboard so much.
Places like Dormans Club this coming Saturday.

I've now had a few trade offers.
3 folk have offered me American Standards.
They are a lower price bracket than the Elite so I won't be doing a straight swap thank you!

That's a first, two days on Basschat & absolutely zero interest.
Perhaps it needs to go on FeeBay at £1550 like the couple that are up there.
Dreamers 😆

I would like to trade for a similarly immaculate Fender Elite Jazz bass however I am happy to discuss a straight sale.
Increasing age & arthritis mean I prefer a jazz neck.
2019 bass with original case, weight is 8lb 14oz (yes, I've seen the scratchplate needs a wipe thank you 😁).
Unlike the Ultra that replaced them, these have the truss rod wheel & the option of through body stringing.
Active or passive with a dedicated passive tone control.
Wonderful asymmetrical neck which goes from C profile at the bass end to D at the dusty end.
Compound radius fingerboard going from 9.5 inches at bass end to 14 inches at the dusty end.
Truly well thought out necks.
COURIER. I'd rather not but if buyer wants to organise & pay for one I will sort out the boxing up & the sitting behind the front door waiting for the courier.
Feedback available.
Many thanks for looking,
cheers,
Karl.

Yeah, I hesitated for a couple of hours on this one, when I decided do it, it had just been sold.
Lovely.

My apologies, the fingerboard radius is 12 inches, not 14 as stated above. Another senior moment!
Many thanks to the eagle-eyed BC’er for highlighting to me.
Or "sad anorak" as he's usually called 😁

Does this have a jazz width nut? Looks lovely, I'm in Stroud, could be tempted 😀
Please buy it very quickly, I'm in Hereford in just under 3 weeks and that's far too close 😁

Just done a trade with Graham.
He has been simply outstanding, organising couriers & funds.
I've seen some good packaging before but his is seriously world class. Superb.
Comms have been excellent & he has been such an absolute joy to "speak to".
The bass is even better than the photos.
Graham is yet another astonishingly good ambassador for Basschat.
Enjoy Graham & thanks for everything.

I’ve got a new gig after a few years of wilderness and dep gigs. If my gig funds reach £750 and it’s still here I may well have that off of you. Currently a couple hundred plus courier fees short.
Having seen a Mex Hoppus up at £1350 and a Mex Noir at £850 this week, I should be putting the price up rather than dropping it 😮😁

There is an older, non signature model of this line up at £900.
I think mine is a bit of a bargain.

Great cabs, fab bloke.
If my Lakkie Geezer Butler goes in time, I'll be on my way 😁

Showing in the shops as £1100 new however even Thomann is showing a long waiting time.
I doubt they will still be £1100 when they actually receive them.
Lots of reviews available of this bass, sounds great, plays great, reluctant sale as I need some money!
I put this up on FeeBay late yesterday afternoon (they had an offer on final value fees) and there are already 15 watchers.
I'm reasonably comfortable there will be a last minute starting bid, so if you're after it ...

Precision body, Jazz neck
Ash body, maple neck, ebony board, matching headstock, factory fitted Geezer EMG pickups, DR Black Beauties, rather black.
Comes with a good non-Lakland gigbag (I will sell it £750 cash collected with no gigbag).
Quite weighty for one of mine at 9lb 14oz
COURIER, I will box it up, buyer to organise & pay for courier.
TRADES, no thank you.
Feedback available.
Thanks for looking,
Karl.

Many thanks Lawrence, hope you are good.
With the current situation with new Fender USA basses & speculation over the future of them, with what's happening in Corona, I'm going to leave this up for a couple more days then probably put it "under the bed" for a couple of years.
