Chrome Red, includes original Fender branded Hiscox hard case, original white scratchplate & white pearloid plate.

Lovely proper dark rosewood board, string through or top load bridge, rolled fingerboard edges etc.

BAD BITS.

Some small chips, it's been gigged. A lot.

Some lacquer split on back of neck. 

You can feel it if you run your hand flat up the back of the neck. You can't feel it when playing.

This is well documented on this era basses, 2001/2003, yet many won't sell as they are very good!

REASON FOR SALE.

I only use one bass now, the others just sit in their stands.

Super condition, some slight scuffing on the top.

Very powerful, excellent EQ and the TASTE control is sorcery imo.

Reliable as there is little to go wrong.

Cheapest I  can find new is £745 and new (slightly different) gig bag £57

When I bought this a couple of years back, they were going up at around £200 and selling within a couple of hours. I actually missed out on 2 before getting this one.

I guess folk don't have the need for a versatile, quality unit that can be used as a pre amp with eq, as well as having chorus, tuner, octave, fuzz, bite, boost, pad & compressor.

I'll give it another week then put it back under the bed.

Previous owner put the DP122 on. The bass came up on Bass Bros & I was after one, but the pickup change was icing on the cake. I've always liked them.
