Hiya folks, I hope somebody can advise me please?
Pete Wentz signature, love everything but the tuners aren't the most stable.
I know the ferrules will be a pig to get out so hoping somebody can advise on a drop in replacement?
Measurements are not 100%, but as close as an old geezers eyes and a 6" steel rule can get them 😊
Here's hoping,
cheers.

Bought couple of years back, never used (I think the bass was sold before it turned up).
Vintage Fender style, nickel with threaded saddles for tiny string spacing adjustments. It's probably Hosco, I like their vintage replacement parts.
The Fender one is over £60.
£20 collected Darlington, £23 posted UK.
Feedback available.
APOLOGIES for photos, Windows have forced an app change & it doesn't have a "Clarity" button. Boo!

I don't get why this fabulous, adorable bass is still here.
If it was in the same time zone as me I'd be in my little tank down the M1.
Good luck, wonderful truly used bass.

I've dealt with Alain so many times he's given me a Customer Loyalty card (I might have made the last bit up 😚).
He is an absolute legend, always easy to deal with and a pleasure as well.
One of BC's greatest ambassadors, thanks again & until the next time 😁
Cheers Alain.

Apologies, sold.

Great price & great bloke.
If it had been a maple board..................
The S1 switch is very useful on a Jazz (but crap on a Precision).
When engaged it really thickens out the neck (middle) pickup making it sound a little more P.
Versatile under rated Fender series imo.
Good luck Skippy.

Indeed, very few of them around.
Despite it being a 2021 only run, I think this is the only white one I've seen come up for sale.
Current production Mex Road Worns now start at £1300 new.
Yet still you get the "that much for a Mex bass??".

REASON FOR SALE, something has come up, I have Jazzes in Deluxe, Elite & Ultra, this one is the "sacrificial lamb".
Limited Run in 2021, factory road worn finish in Nitro, matching headstock, stack knobs and (unusually for a 60's type bass) 9.5 inch radius.
Pau Ferro fretboard (if it's good enough for Roger Sadowsky, Michael Tobias etc...)
Weight 9lb 1oz.
It's faded Olympic White, not as bright as it is in the pictures. I'm no photographer.
Vintage style Fender hard case included (I would sell it for £800 with no case or gigbag).
LOADS of info & demos on t'interweb.
You really won't get many chances at one of these.
Only for sale as long as the object of my desire is.
COURIER, yes BUT buyer to organise & pay. Collection from Darlington preferred.
I have feedback.
Thanks for looking,
Karl.

Fabulous, one of the few Rick models with Maple board.
Might just have to put something up for sale 🙄😆

You have a John Torres neck, you are a lucky man!
The sticker that is in the neck pocket (serial number) should be on the back of the scratchplate. The 'plate may not be original, but I would have expected black anyway.
Cracking bass, enjoy.

Hello hello, that's called theft and robbery. You, ll make a good business man but a lousy musician and human being. Even Tokai put their real name on the headstock. Take a Leaf... You should do the same.
Perhaps you might like to clarify facts before you accuse.
I put my Futurama in a skip a couple of decades ago.

WHY I BOUGHT IT.
I bought the Precision first, because I loved the simplistic look of two knobs & no scratchplate. I like matching headstock & 12" radius. I also liked the arm chamfer, bridge & binding.
The big surprise was the pickups. I have never played a previous model Aerodyne with pickups I would consider good. The P has fabulous pickups. Powerful good range and a delicious thump.I hoped the Jazz would be as good as it has the same features. It is indeed a belter.
WHY I'M SELLING IT.
After a recent purchase, I now have Jazzes in American Deluxe, Elite & Ultra. And this one.SALE PRICE/TRADE PRICE
£850 cash, £950 trade, No offers thanks, I'm taking a big hit on this, in a short time.
A week after I bought it I was taken in for surgery, so had little chance to use it. It's as new.
These were released late 2022, this was bought new April 2023COURIER
I will box it up safely & await a courier, buyer to organise & pay for (including insurance).LINK TO SPECS BELOW (weight of this one is bang on 9lbs on my luggage scales). Their photos are better than any I'd take.

Can you explain the TLA?
I'd try if I knew what TLA was?😆
-
Horses for courses I guess. I really like the simple basic look without scratch plate.
The big thing for me with the recent FSR is the pickups are so much better than the lackluster ones previous Aerodynes have had.
Only opinions borne of my own experience.

Yet another superb ambassador for Basschat, Mark has been an absolute joy to deal with.
Great comms, packaging, item even better than described, sent & received very quickly.
Fully recommended.
Thanks for everything Mark, much appreciated.

Don't know if the link will work, but new band, recorded on iPhone last Saturday, our first gig together. Cobbled together showreel.
These FSR models have MUCH better pickups than ANY Aerodyne (or indeed Fender Japan basses) I've had before.
My Cal Blue Jazz was lurking behind the back drop, if anything it plays even better than the P.
I love them both, fabulous basses for what I need.

I was guardian of this fabulous bass for a good while. Hmm.
Looks like it's gone, someone is going to get very lucky.

Perhaps your predictive text is mixing your Ultimate with Fender's Ultra.
Lovely bass.

Thanks for the reply.
I have no trade I would have been looking at cash.

Does this include the original Fender branded hard case?

REASON FOR SALE
Only using Jazz necks now.
Bought 4 months ago.
Best pickup I've ever had in a Fender Japan bass (yes, imo far better than the US ones Fender Japan use on the more expensive models).
GOOD BITS.
Many. 12" radius, body binding, torque tuners, 8lb 4oz, Babicz bridge, no scratchplate for gorgeous looks (imo).
BAD BITS.
Tiny bit of neck dive although if you watch the video (our first gig) you will see it certainly doesn't bother me.
Soundchecked with it last night to ensure everything is ok.
COURIER.
Buyer to organise & pay, UK ONLY, sorry.
Links.
Video of it in use (I don't have earphones, little idea of how it will sound)
Specs & current price (I paid £1200 in May).
