Sunburst, maple fretboard, 3 eq, 4 string ray for sale. In excellent condition. Has one slight ding on the back which has removed a lil bit of the finish but its nothing serious. Looking for £600 no less to buy Ped's Bacchus or trades for a 5 string. Pics will follow but you all know what a sunburst stingray looks like and you all know what a maple fretboard looks like. x -

I love the geetars. I'm big into the Steph Carpenter models and they play really really nice. Not so keen on the basses though.

The most sensible thing to do for all concerned is just to carry on as you are now. I think it would be foolish to turn down the job offer, after all your job pays your bills. If it turns out that things don't work with the band then at least you tried, but things may work absolutely fine! Ask them for some understanding and if they value you, they will try and cooperate with you!

And do people treat stainless steel strings differently to nickel? I personally cannot stand the sound of dead strings and like them to sound as new and fresh as possible. The sound of fresh nickel strings being slapped is a joy

As of yet, I have not caught my hair in anything I wouldn't wish to. And I have since chopped all my hair off in favour of a much more, shall we say, sensible look. I did once get chewing gum in my hair on stage though and had to yank a lump of my hair out...... -

And I might just add that I have played that bass ^^ For the price, very very good. Feels well built, very nice to play and sounds good. Hardware doesn't feel cheap and the neck is fairly comfortable, even for me with small hands

I listen to a fair bit of what I play, but not as much as my band mates and I listen to more of other types of music myself. However I greaty enjoy what I play and I enjoy writing what I play. What kind of cake are we talking about? If it's chocolate brownies then yes, if it's Xmas cake, then that is death. -
Tomorrow me, piggy and oli (previous band mates) are auditioning the former vocalist from The Mourning Will Follow so I may have something....
