1. I'll be getting along to this as well.
 2.
I'm giving mine a good polish just over those photos.
3.
Congrats both to Peter (GreeneKing) & Gaz. Two lovely basses you have there. Is the top of the Empathy 5 what they call "Burr Madrone" or something like that, Peter? I'm always going to be a sucker for a maple topped S2 - One of my pupils has a 5-string and the sound is just immense! Glad you're enjoying this one, Gaz! Rich
Cheers Rich, I haven't figured out the best use of the mid control yet in a live situation (playing rock and pop covers) and I guess these things just take time. Any tips you could share would be gratefully received. Regards Gaz
 4. I took delivery of my Series 2 in August. I've done 7 or 8 gigs with it so far and I'm chuffed to bits with it. The only trouble is that it's giving me GAS to upgrade my rig!
 5. Here's mine... 1. Laney 150w head, custom 4x10 cab 2. Laney 150w head, Mesa Boogie 1x15 cab 3. SWR Workingman's 180 head, Mesa Boogie 1x15 cab. 4. SWR Workingman's 180 head, Mesa Boogie 1x15 & 2x10 cabs. 5. Warwick 400w head (can't remember name but lost a load of cash when I traded it after a month), Mesa Boogie 1x15 & 2x10 cabs. 6. Added Peavey Microbass practice amp. 7. Trace Elliot AH400SMX, Mesa Boogie 1x15 & 2x10 cabs (current rig)
 6. I've been using a Trace AH400SMX with Mesa Boogie 1x15 and 2x10 for some time now and it's the happiest I have been with my sound (I've been playing a MM Stingray through it). The odd thing for me about this amp is that it's built to be rack mounted but the air intake fan is on the side of the amp, making it necessary to cut a hole in the side of my rack case to allow the fan to work as efficiently as possible. Anyone know why they were built like this?
 7. Let's face it - being in a band takes up loads of time when you add up all of the hours spent learning new material, practising, rehearsing, gigging etc. You're better off spending it with people you share a mutual respect with, not people who would rather take the gutless option of sacking you via email insteading of actually speaking to you.
 8.
gaz would you accept a serious offer of £700 for the bass
Check your personal messages mate. Regards Gaz
 9.
Very Nice mate! Stu
Cheers mate. Price now dropped to £800. Not desperate to sell it to be honest, I'm just trying to be sensible and keep the wife happy before I buy another bass. Gaz
 10. Now sold.
