1. Its daft , but I let soundcloud run through the tracks I like after checking my own uplload , and end up listening through previous months entries , it always brings a smile .
2. I have struggled for time for any number of reasons this month so my playing on this one is a touch sloppy me thinks, but needs must when the devil drives https://soundcloud.com/lurksalot/room-just-room
3.
I'm just gonna leave this here. http://epipes.co.uk/products.html
That is funny , lots of chuckling at that , I am actually still not convinced it is real , more like a proper elaborate April fools features blurb for the electronic bagpipe ........

Authentic Highland Pipes and Smallpipes sounds.
Highly portable. Fits in your pocket: only 16 x 249 mm (5/8" x 10").
Contains all the electronics as well as the battery: no extra box to plug in.
Uses standard 3.5 mm stereo earphones: perfect to play on buses, trains etc. Ideal for the commuter.

4. Would a pan and bag pipe duet be a travesty or a phallusy:)
5. Wow , is that the date already !! That came around quickly:) Well done Mornats a great piece, really set the scene well .
6. excellent stuff again, a very enjoyable listen, I had to listen through a couple of times for my third pick but quality entries again gents

8. Well I have started one now , I am just about managing to get a bit done when it is hammering down , We are mad busy at work and I have an extension to finish building so it is a struggle to catch an hour here and there , and even then it takes me an hour to remember how to play the last bit I just did !
9. Is that Fleagle from the banana splits :-) ........ Na na na , nana Na na , na na na na nana na na :-)
10. Well done Mornats , very professional piece and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Excellent field as well, another quality month
11. I do marks out of 10 as well but then I had to start using half marks to split them
12. Voted I could stick a pin in them to choose to be honest , great stuff , some incredibly professional sounding tracks in there , outstanding .
13.
............ just goes to show, you never can tell
C'est la vie , said the old folks
14. A great gig at the old kings head in Chester last night , they were dancing from the first number , we put 4 new ones in the set and they all went down a storm , I found a really good setup for the Zoom synth for dont stop believing and we got great compliments from the bar 2 more pub dates and 2 parties booked , result
15. I'm in , I have a lot on at the moment so it is a simple entry from me , I am sure it could have done with a bit more time on it but needs must as they say . https://soundcloud.com/lurksalot/town-hall-behind-town-hall-behind
16. That was some staging for the Russians , what a display , incredible !!
17. It is certainly moving along quicker this year , some decent toons aswell , really good doff of the cap to Sir Tell at tune 9 , I joined in the toast
18. Brilliant , very exciting stuff , especially as I am in there , 4 photos for inspiration next month then I am sure someone will come along and do the necessary
19.
Voted..... Exceptional entry from lurks this month. Great work. Skols nirvana collaboration is also worth a mention Great tracks all round but if there was a top vote then mine goes to Mr Lurksalot.....
Why thank you sir , you are most kind , and I am very pleased you enjoyed it
20. Voted , great stuff again and humbled to see I have picked up a few votes , many thanks all
21.
............... lol. I mean, people paid to watch man netball,....
I thought that was funny
22. OK I'm in , a bit rushed this month as I am in the middle of a new kitchen extension and I can only get music time when the sun goes down so here it is , it was supposed to be skate punk but it is what it is , I hope you enjoy https://soundcloud.com/lurksalot/downhill-fast
23. I am hoping for some inspiration tommorrow , the lad is popping round to give me a lift with some heavy stuff , but if he comes early enough he can grunt a vocal for me , lurksalittle likes the tune and the basics are laid down , but it properly needs a vocal. on a technical note , I have found a reverb that I like after 2 years of looking , probably because it sounds totally like I am listening to the sound in the room , even though I have my headphones on . this in itself probably says more about the acoustics of my room than it does about my ability to mix
24. that does look fantastic , I think just being the part must help to inspire, but I'm with Paul
That looks awesome! I'd love to record somewhere like that...unfortunately I require way too much cut, copy, paste and quantise before I even sound half competent.
Though being part of it would be superb
25.
Exactly what I do. A list, with the first note of each number before the title. Bandmates are baffled by this as they think I've wrongly written the key of the song. it works though - if we all start on the right note there's a fair chance the other notes will follow.
Great idea , the ones that used to get me were songs that ended on a different note like Pretty Woman for instance , I'd be playing through the song knowing it ended differently trying to remember what the bloody note was going to be
