Hmmmm Was laughing at that one when my wife came to have a look and said she had seen one of those pics before. Is there something she isn't telling me?!

My wife is reading the Independent at the moment which has a "50 best handbags" feature today. She just pointed out one that costs over 4 grand... I think a 3 grand bass is a bargain - and she agrees!!

I don't know that one but there are a lot of reasonable cheap basses around these days, though you often have to find the right one from a batch to get a good one. If possible, you are better looking through the for sale section here. Most prices on BC are often very good compared to elsewhere and the people here are usually great to deal with. For not very much more than that you can often pick up something like a second hand Squier VM or Vibe - there are usually at least one or two of those for sale on BC, and the quality is more reliable.

That was the one I nearly bid on. One of the reasons I didn't was I thought you might be after it. Shame you didn't get it though - they just don't understand what's important sometimes!

I very nearly put in a bid for that other one - went for a good price.

I thought about it as I like the shape - should probably try one first though That other one looks rather nice as well, though I must admit the through neck on yours looks good. Don't know why I am looking though, it's a fretless I want first!
