1.
Oh ! In that case it's every other bass in the world that doesn't and just the Squier that does .
2. On the Squier site for this model you can look at the specification. Under "Unique features" is Side Dot Position Inlays
3. Hmmmm Was laughing at that one when my wife came to have a look and said she had seen one of those pics before. Is there something she isn't telling me?!
4. My wife is reading the Independent at the moment which has a "50 best handbags" feature today. She just pointed out one that costs over 4 grand... I think a 3 grand bass is a bargain - and she agrees!!
5. Yes - like the look of this but I don't get down your way very often
6.
Although the bottom cutaway could use a little tweak to make the cutaway a tad less deep perhaps.
I think given the length of the fingerboard that is a nod towards the Zon Hyperbass idea. Now that one is cut a little deeply I do like the look of the Uberhorn though, especially that piece of wood.
7. Just bought a USB keyboard off Chris - great guy to deal with, it's even better than he said
8. In a strange case of synchronicity when I opened this thread the ad at the top was for David Sanborn on a Jazz Cruise. No mention of MM though and you'd need to get to the states to join the cruise.
9. Thanks for that - picked it up yesterday and will give it a try over the weekend.
10. I don't know that one but there are a lot of reasonable cheap basses around these days, though you often have to find the right one from a batch to get a good one. If possible, you are better looking through the for sale section here. Most prices on BC are often very good compared to elsewhere and the people here are usually great to deal with. For not very much more than that you can often pick up something like a second hand Squier VM or Vibe - there are usually at least one or two of those for sale on BC, and the quality is more reliable.
11.
Thats a very expensive way to toast bread though.....
Could be handy if you get the munchies halfway through a gig. Give the vocalist something to do during the instrumental number!
12. That was the one I nearly bid on. One of the reasons I didn't was I thought you might be after it. Shame you didn't get it though - they just don't understand what's important sometimes!
13. I very nearly put in a bid for that other one - went for a good price.
14. Is there room for one more at the end of the list?
15. I thought about it as I like the shape - should probably try one first though That other one looks rather nice as well, though I must admit the through neck on yours looks good. Don't know why I am looking though, it's a fretless I want first!
16.
There's another Zoot on eBay at the moment i think. Btw, stop flagging them up, i'm after a bargain!
Maybe I should wait until they finish and the winners could identify themselves!
17. Pickup only from South Wales, but this Zoot looks rather nice. Don't know what a good price is but they seem to have reasonable reports on BC from searching.
18. When you've got a bass? Well maybe some day
19. Ibanez Blazer that needs some work. Sounds like it could have an interesting history though finding out about it might be difficult.
20.
http://www.Tecamp.com is something entirely different. Looking at the overall standard I would hope that they would be very cheap indeed!
I rather guessed that - and I had seen the German site by then
21.
That's a page left behind from the old site. If you reduce the URL down to simply http://www.tech-soundsystems.com you'll be redirected to the new http://www.tec-amp.de/ site.
Thanks BigRedX - thought I was going mad for a moment (Well I have been thinking that for a while actually!) I also had a look at the www.Tecamp.com site. Hmmm... they look as though they may be a bit cheaper.
22.
Is Tech Soundsystems now Tecamp?
Well I am sure that yesterday when I looked the tech soundsytems website I was automatically forwarded to the Tecamp one. But today it isn't (though I have probably used a different link...) This is the Tech Soundsystems page, but whether it is an old page that has been left on the server I don't know.
