I do a lot of research etc before I buy any musical instrument. £99 for an ash bodied Tele.!!!!!?? It does make me wonder why I have a very expensive bass. Maybe in the future I might bypass a Fender Tele and get a Suhr. It is a Harley Benton TE30

His greatest trick was releasing a song without any bass and recording one of the greatest records. The record company thought it was a demo and demanded he record it again with bass. He told them to release it as, or he wouldn't record anything else for them.. he really had a great head on him.

Sorry to be that guy who corrects people. But Peter was the bassist for Nearly Dan. He was a cracking bass player. Very excited to buy that Roscoe from Bass Direct he was. I do miss his presence and northern charm when we met. He was a great friend and a lover of funk and groove. I really miss him.

I was assuming the preamp on my jazz would conflict with the outboard preamp.? I presume the out board preamp bypasses the on board preamp.?

I have an a active Jazz bass with no passive switch..Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I presume I can't plug into an out board preamp like a Sadowsky etc.?

Ah brill.!! Brings back memories. Ive got a vid of me playing it at a festival in Cheltenham back then. It must have been brand new ish as i bought it from the gallery in 2010. It was an awsome bass. Ill post a vid if i can find it.

I bought a jazz bass many years ago from the bass gallery. Sold it back 2011 I think. Would love to know who has it etc. Its an Ostinato Jazz bass. Aguilar obp2 preamp and EMG pickups if I remember.

He's always been mine and my dads favourite. Insane playing from the master. at 4.10 his playing is some of the best violin playing I've ever heard.

You have just pushed my soul gospel buttons Lowdown. I saw the Perri sisters backing for Anita Baker many years ago in Birmingham. . The Flight is one of the great unknown soul albums of all time imo. . Talking of modern gospel. New Directions first album is fantastic. This track has so much momentum.

This is up there . I would bore you with the whole vid but knowone wants to see a crap cat. The totally original choreography/dancing, to this day is still amazing.
