  1. One of the few basses I regret selling, a Thunder 1A. Great score @bartelby, enjoy!
  2. Shake Your Blood - Probot
  3. Fabulous bass. GLWTS.
  4. Friday on My Mind - Bowie
  5. Absolute steal for an excellent piece of kit.
  6. Evil Blizzard - Rotting in the Belly of the Whale
  7. Spirit in the Sky - Dr & the Medics / Norman Greenbaum
  8. Jesus Just Left Chicago - ZZ Top
  9. Can't believe this is still here.
  10. Poker Face - Lady Gaga
  11. I Want to Break Free - Queen
  12. You Love Us - Manic Street Preachers
  13. If you're not wanting too much from it, other than the stated, then what about the POD Go instead? It's a bit cheaper to start with, doesn't have the parallel processing, but it sounds like you don't need it anyway, and you can even have a few effects if you want too. Nowhere near as complex as the Stomp, but the same amp/cab models, most of the effects models. Highly underrated IMO.
  14. That, and the quality of the amp/cab/effect models, plus the addition of IR's. My HD500x is also long gone, but in favour of the POD Go.
  15. Cool. No video (tnankfully! ), but here's the link to our album... recorded with the Ric (even though annoyingly to my ears it doesn't sound like a Ric). Thousand Mile Stare - Black Hole Heart
  16. Didn't use the Rack, but I did have a POD XT Live for a while (with the Bass Expansion Pack). It was good, but there are better options out there. I replaced the XT Live with a POD HD 500X, and it sounded so much better than the XT, and the effects were far better too. It's the generation on from the XT. The downside is that there are far less bass amp/cab options, but they all sound very good. You should be able to pick up a HD X Rack for a reasonable amount.
  17. Give Matamp in Huddersfield a call.
  18. I signed up my son for the free trial of Melodics when he got his Alesis kit, but he didn't take to it. Might be worth looking at? https://melodics.com/drums
  19. Great looking bass. GLWTS.
  20. Broadsword - Jethro Tull
  21. Seemed to go down really well, plenty of mistakes on my part, especially the brain fart where I completely blanked the intro to one song. Played our new song for the first time live, and that went down really well.
  22. Bought one for my lad a few years ago, great kit. Although they're a darn sight quieter than a full acoustic kit, they aren't quiet, especially if it's going in an upstairs room.
  23. Stunning bass. GLWTS.
  24. I tried flats a few times, not a fan, sorry.
  25. Roundabout - Yes
