1. Withdrawn from here, moved it on to ebay If no response there I can leave it in the loft for when it might be needed.
2.
i think at some point you there will be a brief moment where you go 'huh, shoulda kept that thing'. But then the at the moment it does look surplus to requirements and selling it will benifit you now. And if it's a couple of years before the need arises for something larger, i'm sure there will be something nice for sale that you can buy then.
Thats kind of where I am at, thinking that when I am in a position where I want to gig I can find something suitable then. I think it was another of the purchases made as a supposed shortcut to learning (if I buy this I will improve my playing tenfold). I will have a think about it, perhaps put it up on here later this week. The only thing then is setting the right price, these tend not to come onto eBay and they are on here infrequently.
3. We are expecting our first child on the 6th August and the spare room which was the office/guitar room is now the nursery, so I am downsizing, my stuff and I am considering selling my Tecamp 210 combo as part of this process and using my Line6 110 instead. It’s a win-win if I do sell it as it raises much needed monies for Baby supplies and my ‘rig’ takes up less space in the lounge. I started playing about 16 months ago and really enjoy it, I try and play most days, but ultimately I am my only audience, I am not in a band and don’t do gigs. I think that as lovely as it is the Tecamp is overkill for my needs, do you think I will regret selling the Tecamp?
4. I am selling this Korg Kaossilator Pro as I really dont use it much anymore, I used to use it as a drum machine/metronome, but it can do so much more than that, see the Korg page here. Dont know if it helps, but thought I would add some moving images, showing what it does: It is in almost mint conditionon, probably used it for no more than an hour in total, if that. It comes with all the original packaging, paperwork and the PSU. Looking for £230 delivered, one sold on eBay in similar condition for £260 delivererd
5. Bump for more pictures
6. I am selling my DD7 Boss Delay pedal, I bought it a few months ago to sit in front of my EHX Bass Synth pedal. However since buying it I have only used it for about 5-10 minutes when I first bought it and having just sold (pending) my EHX Bass Synth pedal, I think this might as well go too. The pedal is in A1 condition, as mentioned it was used at home briefly during which time it was set on top of my amp and used by hand only, since that time it has been stored in the original box with all paperwork, everything is included and in A1 condition. The Boss product page is here I am looking for £85 delivered by Special Delivery, payment via Bank Transfer. Thanks
7. £110 delivered bump
8. This auction is for my Electro Harmonix Bass Micro Synth, it is as new, totally complete. It includes the original box, paperwork(including unused warranty card), PSU and packaging. It has probably only had a couple of hours use at most, and during that time I have used it only by hand, no dirty boot marks on this pedal! I am only selling this pedal because I don't use it, I only play at home and I am happy going straight into an amp, no effects,I don't think I am an effects person (can I say that ) I notice that one in worse condition than mine sold for £130, so I am setting the price for this at [s]£130 [/s] £110 delivered, priced to sell. If you need any more info or pictures please let me know.
9.
I've got to ask, have you actually amplified this thing? And if so, how does it sound and play?
Yeah, I briefly put it through my line6 110 when I first got it. I personally like the profile, size and weight of it, but then I love the neck on my Geddy Lee so thin necks are fine by me. In terms of sound I didnt do much with it in terms of fiddling with the tone and the volume on it, but it sounds suprisingly good for what is a childs bass. I do find it awkward describing a bass sound but I think its a passable Precision style.
10. Sunday back to work with a bump, bump
11. Johnny_Frog bought my Tascam GT-R1 recorder, good communication throughout and very prompt payment too. Would be more than hapy to deal with JF again. Thanks
12. On the 9th June 2010 I purchased a EB18 bass guitar, listing for the auction can be found HERE. I bought it for my son, however it was a slightly impulsive purchase as he is not due for arrival on this earth until 6th August 2010! As a result it seems likely that this may not get use for a good view years yet, so I might as well move it on. The other factor in buying this rather than wait is that this is the mahogany version of the EB18 which is not seen that often. The bass is in mint condition from when I bought it, I have used it for only a couple of minutes, to prove that all was in working order. The only thing to note is that the bass has some slight/surface indentations in the wood under the varnish on the back of the bass body, which was there when I bought it, I have taken pictures of the back of the bass, but they have not shown up on the picture. The bass comes with the original canvas gigbag. Priced to sell at £79 delivered Cheers Mike
13. Selling my Ashdown Tourbus 10, another of my legendary impulse purchases, cracking little 10 watt amp weighing approx 4.5kg Here is some borrowed sales blurb: Great for the aspiring pro, Ashdown's TourBus 10 is a bass practice amp with volume, bass and treble controls, a headphone socket for silent practice, and a CD/MP3 input so you can play along with your favourite band. A rugged 6.5" driver delivers a surprisingly potent tone. I am only selling this because it was superceded by my Line6 110 several months back and has not been used since. I have the original receipt and manual, but not the original box. The amp is in excellent condition, only used around the house. Looking for £30 picked up from Ipswich or Stowmarket, if you want it delivered I would ask for £5 towards costs and I will cover the rest. Thanks
14. I purchased this unit in January of this year to record to record a gig, work had decided to let us play at the staff Xmas party, brave I know. Link to the Tascam website page for this item is here. The sound quality on the recordings is great, so much so that our lead guitarist on the night bought one of his own. The unit has been used a handful of times since then around the house for silent practice. I kept the box that I received it in and still have all manuals, the battery, 1GB SD card (will be wiped before I send it out, I couldn't do it to you) and the protective carry wallet. The condition of the unit itself is excellent, pretty much near mint, it still has the protective plastic cover on the screen. Price for this is £165 delivered, payment by bank transfer or any other means that does not hit me with charges! Thanks
15. now on EBAY 99p no reserve
16. Bump for £250 delivered or £230 collected. If it doesnt sell here at this price I might even try a defret on it!
17.
Now, I've never been there but, having read the various posts on here over the years, my understanding was that the Bass Cellar was Mos Eisley.... If you know what I mean..?
A wretched hive of scum and villainy??
18. I went to see Kyle Eastwood on Friday and it just made me think that I would have loved to learn the bass "properly", by that I mean fully rounded approach to learning, technique, theory, history. I was reminded me of the bit in Empire Strikes Back where Luke Skywalker went to see Yoda to learn about the force, I need to do that bit of jogging through a forest performing somersaults with a bass equivalent of yoda in my rucksack. So my questions to you all are who or what are the bass equivalent of these Star Wars related things, I have had my go: Who is Yoda? - Who is Darth Vader? - Steve Vai Who is Ben Kenobi? - James Jamerson "Use the hook Luke" Where is Dagobah? - What is the lightsabre? - Fender Precision What is the Death Star - Bass Cellar
19. Red Dead is superb, bought it at the weekend. Not sure whats going on with multplayer though, do I shoot anything that moves or get a posse together. Have you "skinned your horse" yet, not a euphamism!
Red Dead Redemption for the 360, lots of pizza, lots of beer.
20.
An 1/8th of bugle.
I had 1/2 a cornet at lunchtime
