That's a clone of the Tech 21 Liverpool, which is their Vox AC30 emulator. I had one for a while but a 'friend' borrowed it and never gave it back. It sounds amazing on guitar, but I never had the chance to try it with a bass. I don't think it would be ideal honestly I can't imagine getting great bass tones from an AC30.

I'm not sure what rolling is, but if by plucking you mean the traditional reponse to a slap ('thumping and plucking'), that's something I'd only ever used very occasionally. -

Two - one will get played, the other hides at the back in it's case. I toured for years with only one bass - something that astounds me now - and never had an incident, but if people are coming to see the band it's our responsiblity to make sure we're covered for any little mishaps that could occur. Within reason!
