  1. I raise you... Couldn't even get the riff right...
  2. Don't Hang Up - 10cc
  3. Suspended In Gaffa - KB
  4. I haven't implied anything about where you're from, I didn’t know you were American. Doesn't change anything. Someone else expressed their opinion about some bands, to which you replied that they weren't authorised to discuss the subject. You called someone else's opinion 'hilarious'. And then you get offended by my 'don't be daft' - which, trust me, is really not an offensive comment. Don't come on here all guns blazing only to cry bullying when people disagree with you.
  5. Actually, looking at your other posts on here suggests you might be trolling. You called the members of Talkbass 'buttholes' - perhaps it was just your confrontational manner that rubbed them up the wrong way?
  6. Don't be daft. You can have disdain for a particular musical style but still appreciate the odd song.
  7. They weren't, really. Bands always get pigeonholed into popular genres. Like Deftones at the same time. The same happened with grunge a few years earlier. And, getting a bit meta, The Stranglers getting lumped in with Punk!
  8. American High - Machine Head (Possibly the worst song I've ever posted on here)
  9. Some Kind Of Monster Munch - 'tallica
  10. Show Me The Golden Wonder - Manic Street Preachers
  11. Most standard guitar wahs will remove the guts of your tone when you tread on them. There are bass specific wahs but, like the Dunlop, they tend to affect a particular set of frequencies rather than the full sweep of a guitar wah. A notable exception is the Ibanez Weeping Demon - it has guitar and bass settings, but even with the guitar setting you can keep the low end thanks to the EQ control. The guitar setting SCREAMS with bass, and with a fuzz is instant Cliff.
  12. Cheese and Onions - Rutles
  13. Trouser Press - Bonzos
  14. It's Not Enough - The Who
  15. Carry That Weight - Beatles
  16. Doesn't work for me but I wouldn't call it ugly... the colour is beautiful though!
  17. Pop some rounds on then 😁
  18. The Yamaha 424 is an excellent Precision Bass variant. If you're after a different tone, a 'real' Precision Bass isn't going to be far off what you already have. Maybe throw on a set of flatwounds, if you haven't already.
  19. King Kong - Kinks
  20. Sealion - Jethro Tull
  21. Super Trouper - ABBA
  22. Glow Girl - the 'oo
