Sadly when I've seen Cheap Trick live, that technique combined with a 12-string bass and distortion results in a huge mess. Sound techs have enough trouble with a 4 string! As much as I love Tom Petersson and his use of the 12 string, I think his best sound was with the Thunderbird, both live and on record. -
