  4. In my defence, the only time I spent there was gigging, I just struggled to click with the music scene and their architectural haircuts. I remember once, after a gig, I was wandering the streets of Leeds with a pizza when some frankly terrifying bloke came up to me and demanded some. Lord knows why but I told him to f-off. He laughed and hugged me, which was unexpected.
  5. Back in my touring days (15-odd years ago) I always looked forward to going to Newcastle. We used to play Trillians and always had a great crowd. I never had any concern walking around the town after dark. I hated playing Leeds though, for reasons I can't quite fathom... I think it was the haircuts.

    I am the very happy new owner of Chris' Squier Precision. And a lovely thing it is too. I had a lovely hour talking bass and trying out various basses, hopefully not overstaying my welcome!
